When you get in that deep, it is pretty hard. I've been through Bronze and Silver and honestly didn't see a huge change in player tendencies. Bronze V is a whole different animal, and so is Silver V. All the bottom-tier leagues are their own "hell" kind of, but if you put in enough games you will eventually get out. The thing is, if you have the "skill" of a Silver III player and you're in Bronze IV, the difference in skill level is so small that it'll be hard for you to carry yourself out in a hurry. You just have to put in a lot of games, get a little lucky, and eventually you'll pass the ceiling. I started cruising through high Bronze and low Silver when I began playing support. I think Bronze is the best place to play a support champion. Being given the responsibility of controlling your team's vision is a lot more important here than anywhere else. In other leagues, if the support is clueless, the other players will ward appropriately. In Bronze, it's considered to be your job and you'll be the only one stuck to do it. So, I'd get double GP10 ASAP, and never leave the base without at least 5 wards on me. Supports like Nami also come with a lot of CC in their kit, and having that CC will allow you to completely control the flow of a teamfight or set up picks in the jungle. Basically, switch through roles and figure out what you feel like you have the highest impact on, and just play a ton of games. If you're in solo queue, you need at least 3 comfort picks at every role. Playing more games will help you establish that. I'm in my promo series to Gold right now (although my MMR seems to be around Gold III), and I don't even call a role anymore. |

Talon, why are you bragging/pretending to be plat v? You're silver 1 with plat as 3v3 team rank, so good dude! Amazing, thick, solid, tight Silver 1, 0 points. Keep it up man, keep giving advice on how to get out of bronze/silver, good luck with your Silver 1 season 3 goals of 2013. ![]() |

Fair enough, but I'd rather you keep my name private as I personally don't want people adding me. I was at a high Gold level in Season 2 on another account, but I simply stopped playing solo for a while because of the toxicity at higher levels. I occasionally play duo with some of my friends to help them out, but yeah, there's your answer. Actually, if you're going to call others out on their ranking, post yours. And I'd like to see you take a 3's team to Platinum legitimately. With our MMR, we were getting matched up with Diamond and high Platinum constantly. Don't see it as an "easy achievement". |

Are we still using "nerd" as a pathetic insult towards other people on the same exact game and forum as you? Is this 2002, or are you saying it because every other conceited ****** on League says it? You're letting your edgy "orginal 2001 player" Internet ego get to you. |

@Arann, how much of an idiot can you honestly be? Are you trying to use someone's rank as a way to determine their skill level without witnessing their gameplay? @Rockson, have fun in Bronze. Took me nearly 300~ games after being placed into Bronze 5 just to get to Silver. Have some patience, main someone that can carry. I did Master Yi as he was a viable carry champion even now. |
