Since we are taking opinions here,if you ask me it's not the religion but the mindset of people that force them to take advantage of the religion and use it for their personal cause.Since religion is the single most thing people are touchy about,they use it to attract the most people towards them to feel the power.

The Quran has violent verses, but there is historical context to them such as speeches said before battle there were the teachings of Mohammed not Allah, Islam in a majority is peaceful but due to the conditions these people live in it is very easy for them to be talked into believing a false faith because they have nothing else to turn too, when you hate Islam and Muslims then they have won.

One thing to note, all of these religions follow the same G-d just different prophets (Allah = God) so really they are killing people who actually do believe in their same god and that doesn't make much sense, this is how you know these people don't think properly and don't understand their own religion.

When thousands of innocents were abruptly killed when Baghdad was bombed, where were our Facebook tributes? People, instead, were laughing & pointing fingers—blaming them based on what they think they know. Yet, less than 150 are killed in France & people are up in arms about it.

To everyone I say: Get your souls right with God first—then speak about what you think you know about ISIS; I've seen miracles & justice in my life first-hand to know that what is happening today is the result of commercialized consumerist pigs obsessed with being spoonfed ideals by the media to make themselves feel stronger & better—and if justice won't be served but rather only attempted to be outbeat my mankind's cunningness, allegiance, and technology—then the end of this age will be very—very dark indeed.

I mean, that is definitely tragic, and no one in their right mind approves of this; but what you have to understand is that the resistance isn't an organized military over there. It is more like the emergence of early American guerrillas who conquered the British without much rhyme or reason; they hid in trees and did unethical things to achieve the ends—and regardless of what people say, I'm sure there was a lot of promoting little children & lying to them if they had to. In war, there are no rules; in the end it was a rag-tag group of people defending themselves, and eventually they signed the Declaration of Independence to attempt to regain morale after they have achieved power.

The Muslims are being attacked; what do you think they're going to do? Go to Israel and become Jews? Just accept this and allow the new government to come in like a dictator & institute new policies? You must be aware that these humans are disgusted at the bottom of their soul. They have had their lives and loved ones taken from them—traumatized & denied compassion or mercy, threatened, demonized, and blamed for their own suffering; then, their country—and many are trying to take their beliefs/God away from them on top of everything.

You are seriously deluded if you think that they have any sense of decency left; they were shown no mercy, and the meaning of their lives taken away from them. They were then accused, and told they earned it; that this misery and degradation of their soul is for their own good. There isn't much humanity or mercy left in these people, they want to shred the earth to pieces; frankly, I don't blame them. They are traumatized & hurting.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned … Let alone millions of Muslims being trivialized and having their destruction celebrated & laughed at in the media. The one deity they have to turn to for healing is Allah—and everywhere in the media and social media, they are being told Allah is fake, an evil piece of worthless ****, and they deserve this.

Those who perpetuate this and refuse to admit that it's a holocaust have crucified themselves. Saddam Hussein had no weapons of mass destruction; the 9/11 towers were destroyed professionally to raise nationalism & start a war. These Muslims will never stop hating anyone unless they repent & give them justice

The Christian faith did the same, the whole point of the Crusades was to expand the Christian faith and their power. They were told G-d had supported it so they could kill as many people as they wanted, including innocents, and they would dine in heaven for their service and all sins would be forgotten.

When Jerusalem had surrendered because the Christians promised no harm would come to them they then proceeded to slaughter every single innocent life (including some Christians) because G-d 'allowed it'.

Every faith has a terrible side to it, and if we are to label the religion of Islam as a violent one then by the same token everybody who is Christian should be labelled the same.

It's true, but the Crusades happened in the Middle Ages. Human civilization has evolved so much since then, and Islam is at the root of a comparable problem 800 years after the Crusades ended. We can't keep infantilizing Muslims as if they're not clever enough to break through the fundamental shackles of their religion.

The Western world has a history of mocking Christianity. It was partly through that process that we began to learn to stop taking religion so seriously, and start to value things like humanism instead. The West has earned its right to be the only collective of countries where secularism is increasingly the de facto sentiment among its citizens, and it gained this through the struggles of religious critique, religious mockery, satire, debate, etc.

When you critique, mock, or debate the teachings of Islam, you get what happened at Charlie Hebdo. People claim those attacks do not represent Islam, but how not? The Quran specifically mentions to kill those who go against Allah or Muhammad. Christians are not killing on a mass scale and justifying it using The Old Testament.

ISIS is the Islamic State, as devout and loyal to their religion as it gets. I'd imagine they know the Quran better than anyone in the world. They are the larger problem, but moderate Islam has many of the same social issues as hardcore conservative Christianity, except hardcore conservative Christians don't overwhelmingly believe in death for apostasy in 2016.

Rejecting spirituality is like deciding that everyone should be deaf—and while you see materialistic & intellectual glory, this is not the same thing as what life is supposed to be.
