Yea, maybe a setting that in towers, like Klay said, that you can't arrow or bomb your guild members. Or, for PKers, there can be the Pyrat mechanism, where whoever hit the player the most gets the credit for kill, where the bigger hitter gets the patch. And that could also be a solution for 0.5 kill stealers.

Weaving through 5 people at 0.5 and managing to bomb yourself or run to spikes at gives me a sense of achievement also |

I've done it and it's been done to me. I've complained about it publicly and since then I've come to terms with it being a part of the game. But yeah it would be pretty cool if the last person to hit the suicider within a certain amount of time got the kill.

Speaking as a non-PKer, suiciding has other purposes too. When farming in Swamptown, for example. If I'm at 0.5 and my AP is below 40, I'm gonna do whatever I need to do to not lose my bombs. And usually that means killing myself. Just reminding everyone that there's more to the game than PK. A lot of us don't tower. And suggesting changes to "prevent suiciding" would have a number of negative consequences. There's already been enough changes in the game that were intended to fix a problem but ended up screwing up other things. Just something to keep in mind. |
