Would be cool if you could allow the ranks to be changed, and have a few mods that could spectate matches. People decide on the date and time, then they can gain/lose points based on tier difference. Kind of like www.GameBattles.com, but in this case it's all community help. If you could get around 10 mods to just add a change of points to players' rankings, and if you could revise them, after all matches have been finished daily, then it could be a nice ranking system. Player-hosted nontheless, but still fun. Gives players a chance to prove that they are better than silver/gold. |

Yeah, but the CD site looks very nice. Plus, GB isn't going to add an official ladder for graal. It would be cool, if he and a few others could spectate matches and change the standing of players, even if it's not an official ranking system.

It's a ton of work to do that stuff manually, I kinda did that when I held a huge team sparring league on PC Graal and it was exhausting It'd be easy to do that type of stuff if fp4 or someone set it up so that every spar in the arena would send a GET request to a site, passing variables like account names of the winner and loser, how much they won by, etc., but at that point it'd basically be coding a secondary spar ranking system I don't think they have any interest in doing that for unofficial sites and non-staff members (which is understandable) |

I guess, as far as rules go they could be something like Lose a round by (Other than losing, obviously) - Warping more than 2 times - Excessively lagging - Every minute you are late to the match If you log off, before the match has finished, then you lose double the points for poor sportsmanship. Activity - Must do at least 10 matches a month, if you are in top 3 tiers - Must do at least 5 matches a month, tier 4 and below - Every match you miss, you drop a certain amount of points There would be some rules for disputing, but you'd have to record the matches on your own for that. No idea what else, for now, but if I were to have a website with rankings, I'd put something like that. |

On a side note, big props to Thallen for writing his sparring guide. I play competitive SSBM which i study frame data sometimes in, and this was definitely right up my alley. I never really sparred in Classic but now I got interested.
