In V they refer to him as Venom Snake, but yes, prior to that he was Naked Snake.

This game is so awesome! I've been addicted ever since the release. I'm only at about 17% completion because I've been occupied with all the side ops and focusing on building my mother base.

Anyways, I was just reading on the MGS subreddit and found a cool little detail with the cassette tapes, I'll add it to spoiler tags.

The Taken King is serving as a mighty distraction from me playing Metal Gear, but I'm about 40% in and this is easily one of the coolest games I've ever played.

I dropped my copy of Destiny into a hot bowl of molasses and haven't had the time to dig it out.

I think I finished the main story for MGS V but I'm still about 50% done 0.0

Spoiler https://www.reddit.com/r/metalgearso...cassette_tape/ echolog 1 POINT 42 MINUTES AGO There are several tapes with effects. For example if you use the one of a soldier making bowel movements while in a toilet, guards won't check the toiler if you hide in there. Another is one that says 'Enemy Down' in a certain language. If you use that during a combat alert near enemies who speak that language, they'll call off the search immediately. However once you use them to that effect, they break. Also, fast travel is incredibly useful for side ops and saving GMP. Gotta love the detail
