Waiting for a response crono. This debacle goes for fulgore, comet, and any other trash tier “OG” sparrer who somehow thinks US era sparring was competitive. I’m also up for the friendly challenge if someone smart, sensible and skilled like brett, ares, exalt, brandon, etc; would like to challenge me.

Darkk could participate as wel and switch to pc which he’s also not used to if the US guys want more advantages. Im not gonna sit here and act as if i like dark, but we all know he’s capable of outperforming cromo and his band of misfits.

P.S- Get the popcorn as well, since ares called out thallen, it’s guaranteed the alumni stalkers will mention him twice per page of forum thread like they do with sith. Obessed i tell u lol

Side note: Lets pause from the alumni vs US comparisons and compare US to theoretical teams of modern non alumni sparrers with various skill levels.

US idev would be the one comet mentioned and US mixed would be any combination of US PCs you can think of, maybe even comet in there since he believes he is an offensive juggernaut who can do good in mixed.

Beating Brett in a series with 60 noobs in the room against someone he doesn’t take serious in an event he doesn’t take serious is about as impressive as an alumni mixed Sub winning a GST, plenty of people have beat Brett in series he doesn’t take seriously lmao I have tied him in a series and he’s way better then me, David and everyone who talks **** about him only sparer on his level would be thallen or Ares. Save it David your not good lmao your C style run to the corner bull**** was probably good when you were a top tier sparer when the game had 500 players online besides show me a video where you went positive against competition in GST. Every time I see you Gs you get hit once and go full ****** and die in 30 seconds or you deploy the “Eko” and hide behind everyone until your one of the last ones alive. nah p confident US would beat most of those harlequin'd together teams just based on chemistry alone. Don't rly know about the teams there that actually competed(i think there are a couple there?), but I wouldn't really rate them as high as any US team...
It's a pretty moot point though, since the meta-strategy on iclassic has changed drastically due to the influx of more lag and delay moving it towards a more prediction based, and less aggressive style. It's not really a question of whether the older sparrers are better than sparrers now or not, its more if they are willing to adapt.

Offense is really cool looking and fun to do, but really I feel like even on old graal a lot of the time that people reeaaally wanted to win they would back off, and not try to force combos unless someone over extended towards them, maybe I'm wrong, but I remember a lot of people in tourneys that would go much more defensive/safe and it would usually yield better results in that setting.

made me laugh given the other thread + accuracy of this throughout the last 4 or so years whenever he enters

haven't been active since 2013, just hop on and play for one day. probably have played around 20-30 hours total last 5 yrs. time mostly just talking to people.

i've never cared for gst either, i'd always just play like a lil puss & try to survive until the very end & hopefully get a chance to 1v1 someone, never really bothered to "adapt" until this gst. but i only went aggressive for people i know i'd absolutely crush. (you being one of them)

never been picky about whom i've entered the gst with, except one team back in 2011/2012 or whatever. highlander/neo/halo/prado/myself. if i'd care enough now-a-days to win i'd get highlander/neo/brett/(prado/squirt/halo/kevin91)/myself on & we'd win 95% of the time. i'd prob struggle selecting a 5th member honestly, but one of those guys would be solid.

past few years of entering gsts i've always just joined brett's team based on him being a good pal of mine. never said anything about whoever the **** we have as the remaining three members. brett also not caring either. during these random pop ups, i honestly can't remember who any of my gst teammates were besides brett.

for the end of this post i just wanna point out to those thallen cocksuckers out there that i'd still beat him in a series but for some reason thall can't understand recording the series in a private room would be better than lettin in random idiots spam n lag **** up.

+ in his eyes i'm not worthy of facing him in a series because i lost a series to three wins vs someone i don't even remember. + despite literally always being a better sparrer than thall in my entire graal career. still not sure why people highly regard him. still waitin for the puss to series me or brett  

David did endeavor last GST and said he enjoyed it because for once he was the best member on the team, which isn't a big accomplishment as endeavor team KW,FAB,PLATO all delay/lag and without it are completely terrible. Plato just tends to C-spar or Wall entire GST Match, Fabian tends to survive but he can get over-agro and die quickly and KW's delay is cancerous

Dark all you do is run into walls during the start of a GST match and get easily comboed by anyone who has something other than a USA flag, including Canada. The only reason you're able to manage a few hits is because of your Delay for living in a country nobody wants to live in.

US also only retired, cause Rufus didn't wanna do it.

I have consistently been gaining steam and have been learning how to abuse diagonal swings, blinks, and different techniques. I am becoming a god. But I won't series anyone who is better than me because I'm scared of losing (haha Thallen joke)

The Blackout vs Alumni mixed finals that i got a mvp vs them: I think it's a fact that Ares had half the hits i had, while taking wayyy more damage. Me being an idevice player with little spar experience compared to the others in that series

No US player has dominated since US and we have seen many of them enter, think abt it
