Ok I thought this over. 2 GAs would work, one does the scripting, the other knows the gun stats and how they should be. The person in charge of the weapons stats should have complete control over the weapon stats since they are the expert. Scripter just scripts new weapons and what not, then the stats admin goes in and edits it.

how is that complicated? One does all the thinking the other just carries out what the mind says. Kind of like a God and a Profit.

Why would the scripting GA be needed? We already have several coders. Weapons are not released frequently enough to need a coder who only scripts guns/weapons.

One person controlling the weapon statistics would be biased, and may overlook some mistakes. A second GA would most likely be needed so there are a wide range of guns with different abilities.

Well GA's needs to know how to script to do their job. They can't test the guns if they can't change them. And more importantly they can't just rely on another person.

Anyway if there was a position I'd totally apply too bad I don't even know anything about scripting, got to start learning!

Thats true, but it also goes for the counter, the other person could be very biased on guns too. The example i use is if me and a Bar/pbp (for the sake of zone though i will use a Ripper) scrub are the GAs. I hate the APRs and believe they need to be nerfed, not to the point of awfulness but to the point of the fastest t2k with drawbacks. Then theres the APR user who sucks ass without this gun and yeah, he would be PISSED if he paid 20$ for a gun that was the god gun and it was nerfed and actually took skill to use. I would too, hell in the new bf4 patch the M320 LVGs were nerfed to hell into no longer a bouncy grenade but a RGO impact launcher. I was seriously angry with DICE since this gun was great for taking out pesky corner campers that a normal grenade could not reach, that was no longer a option and now you have to pop smoke and blindly charge in. Back on topic, the APR user would be fighting tooth and nail for the APRs to stay the god gun and all the other people who suck without APRs would back him up. Then theres me who is fighting tooth and nail to nerf the gun for the sake of fairness and bring more enjoyable gameplay to zone and i would be backed up by the people that have the same beliefs as me or have the noobs who just get destroyed by these backing me up. In the end what do we get, a massive war and nothing gets done. Thats why i am more for hiring 1 person that is in the middle of the noobs who get owned by APRs and People who suck without APRs.
