Incapable of moving there fingers left right up down and tapping a glove? Heres my analysis of this, basically you and others want the bowl idea and crap because you hate contest when contest is what made it graaloween in the first place, people who are incapable are children that are basically so lazy they want an new style of the event entirely. People get butthurt due to the fact that people took the time to hunt ghosts and were successful about it whilst they sat on their asses afking believing theyd magically get free candy by doing so.

The candy collecting from the house was seriously a pain, no one besides people that take the time to jump in homes 24/7 actually had fun because its like switching from a fair contest to basically house jumping which was in favor of the other players that normally do those things. It was no where fun, going to a persons house that either had a farm or maze or even a passcode just for one piece of candy. Dont even get me started on the fact that the prizes where overpriced, in less than a few days, without competition people rose up to the leaderboards. In my opinion, Ghost catching is fun and has a challenge behind it, and candy house collecting is boring (cool idea but ****ing boring) and was mostly designed for the people that couldnt bother with moving their fingers.

It was also easier to just sit in Graal City and say "Enter house for candy" than it was to actually enter everyone's house to get candy. So I think it's a little more balanced than you're giving it credit for.

This also proves my point, it was easy, so easy it made me want to pretend halloween wasnt a holiday due to the fact it was extremely boring, and annoying to see players sitting there "OPEN HOUSE GET CANDY" basically a code shop.

Exactly, if you guys wanna lay around all day, why not offer an idea of going in houses for candy but also give the option of hunting ghosts, cuz clearly, this argument is slowly becoming one sided due to people wanting to make things easier

Doubt it would work as the playercount is a lot bigger than, stuff is supposed to be about fun, not a contest

I love contests but I'm just trying to think of the younger and newer people in the game. I barely get on either way though so none of this has an impact on me

Then don't. If someone doesn't have the brain capacity to catch candy with a net they have bigger issues than worrying about "how unfair this is to new players"

I really hope they have the net candy ghost system

Also if they could start it today that'd be really cool because it's the weekend now  

if theres any contest that are gonna get added. make it like the egg hunting event. so people doesn't have to no life in the whole halloween week and it's gonna calm it down at the end.  

Im still kinda upset that deadwood or cimetaries werent decorated this year
(Dunno if this thread is realy dealing about that but there is like 5-6 thread named graaloween)

If there is going to be an event with rewards, you could make some special halloween treasure maps as one of the rewards. Would especially be great with the original trick or treating system.

The NPC could sometimes give a map (would be cool if it'd be black or pumpkin themed) with a location. Then the treasure could contain a special item. The maps should not be given out too often though, just as a fun extra.  

Riddles from npc's work too.  

Ok everyone listen! After reading all these ideas I have heard some great ideas. Everyone wants to choose one idea, but I know this sounds crazy BUTT make more ways to earn candy so the people who liked "X-years graaloween and Y-years graaloween" will both be happy. It would also get rid of the repetitive aspect and it would make it more fun because the competition will be spread out and everyone has good chances to get lots of candy-which is what we want

Yes thats true we want it so everyone can get candy in a fun competitive way, but its not like they never had those chances, people are just fat and lazy and dont know their do's and don'ts in graal so they choose to take the easy route.

Still waiting for someone to suggest some kind of gameplay event for Halloween instead of 'do X from Y year' or 'do that thing with lots of prizes' because there's nothing progressive about that. If what we had in the past worked it wouldn't have been changed, like Easter hasn't for the past 3 years. Had the same issue last year.

To elaborate on this, what kind of prizes would players like to see that doesn't involve making 20+ new hats every year? It's a bit tough on the graphics team when new costume hats need to be made, new hats for Onnet, a ton of new gifts for Christmas on top of the stuff for Club Crypt... and then having 20 hats for Halloween.

We need ideas for things we can use every year for now on and players won't be disappointed for getting.
