can't we all just get along. antago has nothing but good ideas for graal and you all are being quite antagonistic towards him.

The purpose of this thread was to see why and if classic and other servers really went into in-depth background checks. Everyone has something great they could put into a server and I really respect that.

People are being antagonistic towards antago because he is really putting himself out there with his arguably controversial comments and opinions and unfortunately, this is the case for many people and this is also a reason why many people aren't hired. Background checks aren't just based on bans and warnings. Common behavior is also a major factor and many people do not pay attention to this fact.

The difference between 300 and 4000 players is huge when it involves giving hormonal teenagers administrative powers. Classic pulls 100k unique players a week.

Woeee 100k? i thought it was more like 40k. damn but it makes sense, just add random noobs or block them and u will see a lot of people come in and out of this game.

Yeah. The old admins seemed to knew what they were doing and didn't overreact, but still had room to have fun and be a little immature.
New ones? Really serious, and don't want to joke around much. They don't understand when you're joking, kind of the reason I think they're younger. Taking their job too seriously makes us suffer, it's so much better to have fun admins.

True, most of being a gp is checking uploads. But they don't even know how to do that?
I know now to upload when good admins are online, because if you do it when they aren't they'll get rejected.
Ever got your bandanna head rejected? Probably by a younger admin taking their job too seriously.
I got banned from uploads for uploading a head based off an anime, again an admin taking their job too seriously. There are so many things based off copyright material in graal eg coco and dusty's Halloween costumes but at the end of the day, that's not breaking any rules. It's just inspiration.

I doubt those two would of been able to get those costumes if they were uploading when one of the super serious younger admins were online.

At the end of the day, no not all admins who are young suck - but most of them do.

Doing your job (serious) = immaturity
Messing around (not serious) = maturity
Makes sense  

People would probably care more about doing their jobs and less about fooling around with staff tools if there was actual rule enforcement.

The fact that UN allows admins to roam freely and admins of Graal Classic have to "stay in admin island" is BS.
