Plat III now, but not sure if I'm good enough to get diamond without luck :/ I'm getting carried a lot. I mean last game I went 8/0/10 as Cait but it was mostly my team spoonfeeding me kills and me not doing anything outrageously stupid. I didn't really make any plays.

If I go mid or top I almost always go even or lose lane. Jungle varies a lot. Botlane also varies a lot.

Not sure if plat III is low elo, but honestly I wish that was true. When people are going 0/10 in lane you kinda have to make plays in order to carry some games.  

I still consider Plat low Elo. Plat honestly isn't good to be honest, there isn't a noticeable difference in skill in the jump from mid-Gold to Plat. The only improvements I've seen people make in this skill bracket is objective/map control focus. People are still laning like Silvers and tilting like they're Bronze.

Not all that true. I almost managed to win a 4v5 where one of our 4 was 2/24/1 and had been 0/15 during the first ~30 min. The reason we lost the game was because I made a silly mistake. Not playing like a complete dumbass wins games. Obviously you'll have chumps who throw gold to the enemy team, but it's rarely the case that games are unsalvageable. Maybe league's different, I dunno.

ad ez is way better than AP.

I go Triforce->lucidity boots->BotRK->LW->IE->GA

Obviously it varies depending on what the enemy picks and plays.

Traditional honestly the way to go, even if the meta sheep of GD and Bronze-Plat Elo dont think so. This way, he's actually an ADC who deals damage and stays relevant in the lategame. Don't like BotRK or Lucid at all, he doesn't need any more help with kiting than he already does, or you're positioning terribly. Essence Reaver gives you the CDR you need, but everyone's surrounded it with stigma because it used to be a **** item when it was released. BotRK is extremely situational, I'd only build it against comps like Jax/Darius/Mundo/Nasus/etc. Ezreal always appears to fall off because of people building stuff like Tear/Iceborn/CDR on him, basically making him an AD caster. Stuff like that promotes a more passive "only use Q from backline" mentality which sucks. ADCs only scale so well because of crit, and when you take that PD/Shiv away in favor for anything else, you might as well play AP mid where your Q's do more than 150 damage endgame.

Though I'm sure everyone writes this build off without trying it once because pretty much everyone in this game is sheep. But whatever, Ezreal is by far the most diverse champ in terms of build paths, but I've just found traditional ADC to be the most superior. Lucian and Corki do the AD caster-style ADC so much better, and while you can say that Trist pulls off traditional ADC the best, Ezreal is a lot more fun than right clicking and has a lot more utility. He's already got the 100% uptime on 50% AS if you have any clue how to play the champion, so just take advantage of that and actually play ADC.

I see. Thanks to both of you for giving me such great advice, I'll definitely try running both load outs and going ADC. I'll also save up for Lucian and Corki, everyone's been talking g how superior of an ADC they are and they seem like good champions to try.

1 month ago, I woulda agreed with you. His damage was really subpar and failed to take down tanks

But Ezreal's Q and passive were buffed recently, and trist was recently nerfed. Now he's decent. Still doesn't compare to Lucian though.

I honestly use him because I'm not even level 15 yet and I'm aiming to main ADC, and I'm training myself to skill shot so I can have a lot more accuracy playing ADC champs.

Ezreal's Q is beast if you train it right. I like to go a little bit AP though so my ult doesn't suck.  

the problem with Ezreal is that, if you're looking to build him in a way that optimizes your DPS and survivability (as pretty much every AD should be built), then you're building him as an AD caster by maximizing his CDR, getting flat AD, and not prioritizing critical chance or attack speed
that's kind of bad for bottom lane because the meta role of an AD player is to be consistent, guaranteed damage in fights

he's really, really strong with Trinity Force because Q procs the 200% Spellblade passive, but Ezreal and Urgot are the only champions who are reliant on a non-pass-through skillshot to get the bulk of their damage off (and even Urgot's becomes targeted at some point)

he can be played effectively and he's a fun AD to learn if you're good with skillshots, but there's just really not many reasons to pick him over a champion like Lucian
I pretty much love when people pick Ezreal because it gives me one of the very few excuses left to play Vayne

I don't think he's terrible or anything, especially after the Q buffs, but the release of champions like Lucian and Jinx have definitely pushed him down a tier

I agree. I mostly picked him as my first ADC cause hes a good start and I can learn to skill shot a lot better than if I used Lucian or Jinx.

if you build him like LUcian with Youmu's/botrk/tri you get enough attack speed/crit to do plenty of damage.
