These designs are amazing. Thanks a bunch Coco! The main focus now (I think) should be gameplay and such. I think it's been established that battling would be similar to Hearthstone, which is fine. However, my one main concern is the Trap vs. Spell card. I'm afraid that they'll end up being too similar and we'll have to just end up merging them into one. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to make them different? (in terms of effects) As for actually playing a card, I had a few ideas. My main one was drawing two cards on your turn: one from the Summon pile and possibly one from a Gralat pile? The idea is that you draw Gralat cards (similar to Energy in Pokemon) and can use these to play certain cards. For example, a card could cost 2 Green Gralats to be played, while another could cost 1 Red Gralat, etc. Gralat color could be based off of how powerful a card is, and this can lead to some interesting ideas for game mechanics (for example, you can only bring 15 Black Gralat cards into a deck, etc.) Just an idea I had, very different from Hearthstone but idk, thoughts? Gralats would probably have their own template btw (although I would assume nothing fancy, probably just look very similar to Energy from Pokemon). |

As for the cost, it's whatever the number is over the gralat. I figured it would work like it does in hearthstone and the different colored gralats are only to represent rarity. It would be a give-in that the rarer cards are more powerful, like an ultimate card would have high damage and health or something. |

Although, I wouldn't mind just doing the basic Hearthstone mechanic either, although I still think that certain limits would be in place to create complex strategies (ex. you can only have one Rainbow Card in a deck, 15 max Black cards, etc.) Also, I'm not great at editing (and I know not many other people are), so I was thinking that until I figure out an easier way to edit the templates Coco made, I could just stick to the normal Hearthstone generator and someone could create cards based off of the ideas? |

Also maybe Dusty and I can make a card generating site if it's easy enough ;D and of course by "Dusty and I"...I just mean Dusty... Don't get your hopes up. |

I had been referring to them as Summons but Player works much better EDIT: Dusty card: Spoiler
Also, I think I decided on this for the classes (right now, classes don't do anything): - Sparrer - Artist - PKer - Baddy (will make Baddy, Pyrat, etc. cards in the future) - Socializer - Special (made for cards that don't fall completely into any of these categories, for example maybe a Xor or fp4 card in the future (might make Dusty and Coco Specials, but I see them more as artists)). Specials will probably always be Epic/Rainbow Gralat status. - Troll (probably wouldn't name anyone in particular, thinking more of maybe like Spammer, Hacker, Scammer, etc.) |

Before we make any more cards. We need to make the base everything. We won't give each other rare stats or blah blah. It will all be random. Maybe we can all become a game on steam If we plan this out well |

This is true, I've mainly been making cards that work with the current format and can be easily modified if needed to. I assume battling will be very similar to Hearthstone, but win conditions still need to be a thing. A few things to work out first: 1. Deck size. How many cards allowed in a deck? 60? 50? 2. Battling. Should Players (minions) need to wait a turn before they can attack? Should Charge and Taunt even be a thing? 3. Classes. Should these mean anything? 4. Hero cards. Should they exist? 5. Should this just basically be Hearthstone with a few changes? What can we do to make it more unique or original? 6. Should a Player take damage when it attacks like in Hearthstone? |
