i support 'private, unknown, other' gender options.



^only thing i am worried about right now.
transgender bathroom, *********s or rapist can easily dress up and identify themselves as a female and start harming people in the girl bathroom, and if men are serious about hurting girls, i don't think girls can really protect themselves.

Dude, go out in public dressed as a girl for a day and see if you even feel remotely safe (you won't).

I did that once. No one seemed to notice . As for vulnerability my skirt was a little uncomfortable?

I don't think graal should bother adding something like this.
If you feel like you're bigender that's up to you! People don't personally care about that. What they want to know is are you a male or a female. Graal shouldn't put stuff like that, childs are curious and who knows what they'll end up finding: XXXBigenderXXX, XXXAGENDER.(Please don't report this)
If you honestly and seriously want to show that you're a bigender or things like that, just put it in your status. You should consider that some information are better kept to yourself though.

nobody gives a ****. i see crossdresser in NYC everyday. they might laugh at u, but what? deal with it. or move the **** out to suburb or ***.

What's the big deal about anyone seeing bigender, agender, or whatever ridiculous things some people will come up with in someone else's profile?

Because like I said before some of them can be complete assholes about it. Shaming those who identify with their born gender or use the wrong pronouns for them, and giving false information to doctors.

I'm totally fine if you want to pretend to be whatever gender you want, but don't be an asshole about it.

So you're saying that adding a text field on a form causes people to become assholes? I believe that if someone acts like an asshole after a text field is added to a form, they were already an asshole to begin with. I don't see why anyone would shame someone else for identifying with their assigned gender, while usually people are shamed for not identifying with their assigned gender. By assigned, I don't just mean people who grow up with one set of genitals and suddenly want the other kind, sometimes when the genitals of a person don't fit neatly into male or female, gender is assigned by surgically modifying genitals at birth, regardless of whether it's medically necessary, because the form the doctor has to fill out doesn't give them any other option.

If someone expects people to magically start using pronouns that aren't associated with gender presentation, they're going to have a hard time. They'll never be happy if that's really what their expectations are, because even the people who try to respect a preference of pronouns will fail quite often.

Meanwhile, giving false information to doctors? Where's that coming from?

still not convinced with a single post. theres no need for graal to add 20 genders. i can understand why some people wanna be unknown/other/private gender though and that's the only option i can support.

and imagine the graal administrators perspective: in game reports filled with offended LGBT kids.

I'm explaining where the resentment towards made up gender is coming from. I never said I was against a blank slate, but I do think it's stupid. I'm okay with a private option though.

When filling out forms they'll usually refuse to fill in gender.
