If it was overpowered then why was it sold like that? It's really whoever balances the weapons fault.

Then again era is pay2winand the guns are unequal and unbalanced, so this is just one more little thing contributing to the bull****.

If I can come up with a balanced system, any of you should be able to too

nahhh not really. you didnt get my point. i used candy cane for example because there are more people with those then with bars or any other weapon that deals 9 damage. it should just go back to blocking a certain amount of per cent instead of a certain amount of damage .___. is it that hard?  

I haven't seen a lot of comments that disagree with the current gun stats, so I'd assume that there's only a very small portion of the community complaining. If there's going to be a change this dramatic made, then it should be done with the support from the majority of the community.

Bas, i've been asking throughout this thread for peoples suggestions x.x no one actually came up with any IMPROVEMENTS, they have merely being saying that it needs to be improved, which from our point of view is actually most unuseful :3 It's not hard to do, no one decided to tell us that was the problem

lol i dont have it, but i have played with it on my friends idevice when it wasnt downgraded yet. it wasnt THAT overpowered .-. i suggest to atleast give it a really nice blocking rate :p  

I changed it so it blocks 40% of damage now.. till we figure something else as a solution

So couple of months ago they nerffed the KSG weapon which most of us bought it for 75k,THAT GUN has gone USELESS! As it gets owned by a bloody desert eagle! Seriously either refund my 75k so I can buy a bar! Or sort out the bloody gun! I spent £25 British pounds on that gun ad now it's gone to waste! SNK seriously refund my gralats or SORT it out!!!

Ignoring your first part because i'm pretty sure thats not the case lol x.x
PBP does 4 damage, 5 upgraded - pretty sure that got nerfed already to make it less overwhelming. So yes, adding one damage would make it the same damage as a PBP Shotgun in this case.
I'll look into getting the shield changed back to Bamboo, but I WONT raise the damage just yet, you can play with the bamboo style and see if that helps you first.

I checked BBoy's gun statistics thread, and like I said, pbp does 8 damage per bullet. I also read the posts that were between this one an the rest of "our" discussion, and now that we know for sure the pbp does 8 damage per bullet, you can take my suggestions into consideration. So, I'll repeat it one final time what my suggestions were:

- Improve the block rate on the riot shield
- Improve the damage per bullet with one, making it 4 damage per bullet (together 10 damage if both of the bullets hit on one person..?)

No, the stats shouldn't really have been changed - but tbh, if they wasn't everyone else would be moaning and crying because it's overpowered.
Romario, tell me what YOU think needs to be done to make the KSG worthwhile, remembering it still has to be worse than a PBP Shotgun and nearing the same as other things its pricerange.

thanks snake, i would really like if the block % rate increases a bit more, also because the KSG only shoots out 2 bullets per shot i personally think that bullet damage should increase (and if your talking about PBP, PBP shoots 4 bullets not 2, so it is still underpowered then the PBP). the move rate should also increase a bit after firing the gun, because it is still to to slow, and less'n up the freeze rate.. if that's possible then i think the KSG would be perfect.

however if any one else wants to add on anything i would be grateful, because the thing is it's not me complaining, most of the people in iEra are.

nevertheless if these action can not be taken in to place ill just like to refund the gun and get my 75k back so i can pursue in buying a BAR...

i totally agree, but also like i said before less the freeze rate and after shooting bullets it makes you go slow please sort that out too...

That thread is wrong, they've since been changed, so discard those statistics I already know since I checked them myself. If the PBP did do 8 damage, there would be no issues to changing the KSG's damage, but since it doesn't, well it's not overly viable

I reduced the damage you take temporarily till we decide to change the blocksystem again back to bamboo style.
I'll think about the damage later.

Modded freeze with shield, should be okay.  

It'd be nice to have a web page that lists the gun stats for currently uploaded guns on Era iPhone so players can refer to it whenever they need to look up a gun stat.  

Mr. Rekon, changing to like 50-70% chance of blocking all damage is a suggested improvement. But even more liked by me is your suggestion of changing to 3-4 bullets that do 4 damage each... Think pbp shoots 5 so it's still better. Maybe 4 is too much, but 3 bullets and 4 damage each and the improved shield would make me happy enough to go buy it, now. :p  

Doable.. but really that just takes an annoying amount of time :p
More important things to do than to make a gunlist.

None of you seem to be reading what I say.. it's NOT a chance of blocking currently.
it outright REDUCES a percentage of damage.  

Or even better, forget that bamboo style. 50-60% less damage taken is much more acceptable.
