Well some people don't get a degree and are highly successful. I mean Steve Jobs didn't graduate college and we all know that he did pretty well. Here's some more examples: https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/249683 If you really want to get a degree anyways, which I could understand, you could always take a break and come back. Keep in mind that people who take a break don't always come back. However, people have taken years or so off and came back, or not, and still been successful. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/...ain-later.html I don't know a whole lot about this but if you don't think you need a degree to be successful then I'd say to go for it |

You could take a break, as you've been told by several other people in the thread already. However, I would strongly advice you to have a plan of how you're going to earn your living if you do decide to drop out of college. If you don't have a well thought out plan, you might just end up working all the time where you were supposed to plan and start up your business. An option is to move back home, but if your family is anything like mine, then they would be quite mad for dropping out. Don't you have the option of working on projects like starting up your own business at college? The college I attended in the US did, and so does a lot of Norwegian Universities, but I don't know how it's like at your college. Maybe you could ask someone at your college about such an opportunity? |

However, they didn't have a clear answer when I asked who owns the product on completion, me or the school. I've decided I'll finish out the semester, work on starting my company over the summer, then I'll decide if moving onto my junior year is a viable option |
