In any way, including by advertising, traffic, and whatnot, does Graal Depot make profit?  

Ads for sure, its been proven in the past that they do and they honestly couldn't care what they need to do to do it.

I don't mean to be an Antago or anything, but Graal Depot was based off my idea in 2011 but I never thought to make any money off of it. I just wanted to know what I was missing out on.

My website's name was Twizgraal, which I had started pretty much as soon as the first "custom" was purchased on era (I still vividly remember seeing a guy named Vince with the first custom head and body. It was a purpleish-blue edit of a preexisting head and body, which he also made even more interesting by adding transparency to the entire outfit)

I saw the opportunity to help players, after constantly being pelted with head and body requests and watching others get the same treatment. I wanted to give the common player easy access to a source of customs. I had also recently gotten into PC graal as well, and noticed how abundant heads and bodies were, so I basically stole every single head and body off of there, then added them into a gallery on the website with different categories. I also threw in all of the heads and bodies I stole using iFile for the hell of it. Eventually (after a couple weeks) there were over 5000 head and body images.

As the popularity grew, I started getting complements and insults all the same.

I allowed the people who followed and made accounts on my website to post their own customs, as well as post stolen ones, which passed through my permission. Lots of tension grew but I said to hell with it.

The blog page on my site allowed me to update graalians with upcoming additions. I eventually added status codes and shield codes, and even a chatting page for people who created accounts.

Why the hell didn't I think of making money off such a wonderful idea? I mean, as I got wiser I could have changed the name and made a sturdy business model. Oh well.

This was 2011 so if you do have it bookmarked it'll be pretty far down there.

The reason I kinda forgot about it was because I quit for a while. I came back in like 2013 or sometime around there and found out about Graal Depot and got pretty pissed that someone stole my idea.

Why would he unless he makes his own graaldepot?
Graaldepot is the place where a lot of people get their customs from to quickly upload it and make the server money $$

It might actually be beneficial to Graal itself. It could almost be symbiotic. Players are driven by the need to have customs to buy gralat packs, and without graal depot, there would be no source of customs for the less artistic.

Oh they stole my idea. I had a talk with the creator of Graal Depot as soon as I found out about it. I mean, I couldn't really do anything about it because it isn't like I had some kind of right to the intellectual concept of it.
