To be realistic here, I'd say it is incredibly difficult to make any profit from a game made with RPG Maker. The games like that already have an incredibly small market to appeal to (retro RPG lovers) and games that were made with RPG Maker already have a negative stigma in Steam Greenlight. I might be wrong though, you have this forum here where i'm sure a lot of people would give your game a chance if you promote it right and it's actually good. And yeah, obviously the game would have to be insanely good for it to get anywhere. Don't want to discourage you or sound like im ****ting on your dreams lol, but you will have a lot more fun doing this for the experience and trying to pick up something new rather than trying to make some gralats. |
