Doing this for some PC gst matches would be interesting(Idev warps quite a bit more, so im not sure how well the software would be able to track). What would also be interesting is to have a x marked wherever a hit happened(I realize this would require a person to do it, but it wouldn't be all that time consuming.) Either way, cool. |

What WOULD be cool is having automatic heat-mapping scripted that'll record a map for every spar. You could then give players the ability to browse through past heat maps, giving them an overview of how they've improved over a period of time and an overarching view of how they tend to interact with their opponent in a spar. If we want to be really clever, we could also programmatically compare these heatmaps against successful players' heatmaps in order to give helpful tips on how to improve. |
