Introduction:
Optional quests you can do for unlocking game content, making people level up skills, bring new weapons/items into the game and give the game a sort of lore so people get caught up more in the game itself.
Quests:
Requirements: Needing to have a certain level in a skill or have quests completed which this quest is a continueation of(keep in mind, quest areas require acces of certain quests completed aswell).
Quest area: An area that is only accesible(or unlocked forever) during/after a quest. One of those areas might require items and skill levels. Such areas can benifit the player if it's available to the player forever.
Items needed: Having to collect a certain amount of supplies for an NPC or requiring items to get past obstacles that might be in your way.
Duration: The time it would take an average person to complete the quest if said player has all requirements and items needed.
Reward: Can vary between weapons, gani items, experience rewards for skills etc (Items should be untradeable unless it's required for a CO-OP quest or something similair). Every quest (excluding holiday ones) rewards questpoints, with the amount of points depending on difficulty and duration of the quest.
Milestones:
Every 10 questpoints you will unlock a reward, the more total questpoints the better the reward is. (every reward would only be obtainable once)
Extra ideas/tips:
1. Can be used to provide more content around holiday releases but have a permanent impact on the game. (Fun items & such)
2. Solution to boredom of a lot of people. Stories & lore plus rewards is why.
3. Another reason to train ALL skills and making skill items more valueable for trading. (Demand will increase)
4. Another goal to complete alongside the others. This system would continue forever.
5. Undercover way of providing education about stuff like history.
6. People will read and reading is good.
