A Neat Old Story + Pictures!
Rewind to about 5 years ago on iClassic and you'll meet a very grammatically incorrect version of myself causing mischief. Around 2010, before i had even developed a stable name for myself in the Graal community, i was a helplessly bored middle schooler with a newly purchased iPod Touch. I had no idea what lie ahead when i downloaded the app called GraalOnline Classic. After a few months of intense studying of the gmap and the behavior of the community, i discovered that you could manipulate the app via the Jailbroken app called iFile. During this time i also had heard of many of my friends 'glitching off map'. Ever since i was born i have had an extreme thirst for discovering the unknown and history of things i am interested in. Naturally, i learned how to do a technique crudely named 'Guild House Jumping' which was the act of leaving a specific guild house and jumping off of a cliff at the same time. After doing this, you would be warped out of your house for leaving, but at the same time you would leap downward due to jumping off of the cliff. This.Changed.Everything. Guild House jumping spawned an epidemic of curious kids who would venture into unreleased areas of the classic gmap. There were little-to-no 'warps' off of the map. Warps were things that caused you to teleport back into the map at various unstick me points. The most common place where people would guild house jump, is off of belle island (now called Delta Island for some stupid reason) and down into the water, then back onto the land near the insane asylum. From there you would have access to the rest of the map thanks to the port that lead to the ocean just below the asylum. The ocean led to islands and other land masses that i wont go into detail of. Instead i would like to introduce a nostalgia trip with old screenshots that i found of myself and a few friends glitching off map in 2010ish. Shout out goes to: Cap (now goes by Rave) my very first graal friend, leader, and teacher. Heracles (nicknamed Herc) a very loyal, polite, and patient fellow glitcher and guild member. H@XeR (this was my name back in 2010 before i had developed a name for myself. I thought i was pretty cool for manipulating files and abusing bugs.) Lastly, The guild (Crasder) lead by my friend Cap. Crasder was my first guild and was the hub for glitchers to communicate and coordinate their exploration. Some of my best graal memories originate from these people. I could talk about it forever...But heres the screenshots. __________________________________________________ _______________ TOO LONG DIDNT READ? BEFORE I WAS BASI, I WENT BY H@XeR AND I GLITCHED OFF MAP WITH MY FRIENDS AND IT WAS A LOT OF FUN. HERES SOME PICTURES OF OFFMAP ADVENTURES WITH CRASDER, A GLITCHING GUILD I WAS IN. *note* these pictures are taken in the perspective of my friend Cap. http://imgur.com/63e0ISC,lqCsD2c,TRP...9vgy,OxCZ79r#0 |

Hello Basi, Nice story, I remember doing it also (Off map glitch and GH Jump). But I had found, with a friend, a better "glitch". While we were trying to find it, we modified the "grab.gani" file so when you were pressing the glove button, you were warping into 4 sides and so you could go anywhere. That was the good old times I guess. :p |

I was never a glitcher, but some dude showed me the GH jump, so I would stop pkng him. I was newbie, so I don't remember all the places I went into. Unfortunately I didn't know I could take screenshots with my ipod, so I didn't have any pics.
