Help :(
Hello Guys, So basically, I started on pixel graphics. I am currently using Photoshop CS6 on the Mac and I decided to start on gfx as I want to learn how these great people on the forums actually do all this and it is very fascinating. With high hopes, I started, and totally sucked. It is just very confusing which tool to use, what layers do, what the F@&* is layer rasterization etc. This is why I made this thread. I would like to ask for some help to do with this sector. I was making a Vector inspired from Black Ops 2 but after literally spending hours, I still couldn't even produce the outline. I'm literally stuck but I don't want to quit as I wish to learn and carry on. Any help, templates, tips and tricks would be highly appreciated for me and also the hundreds of 'noobs' in this great, creative sector of art. Thank You

I use adobe too and the only things I've really used so far are the pencil, quick selection tool, layers, magic wand and pipet. You don't really need all those "fancy" things Just use the basic ones!

Post some work here, we will give you feedback. Also, you might want to use something more simple for your work, such as starting with MS paint or Paint.net.

Consider layers like piece of papers, you draw something on layer 1, well layer 2 would be on top of that. That's it :p |
