Alright, so it's bluntly obvious that most of us aren't in college or are in college at the moment. So, what do you plan to major in/what do you major in?

Personally, I hope to major in Computer Science, but the college I'm looking into just dropped their course. Hopefully, they will readd within the next four years. If not, I guess I will have to dip into my other choices.

Anyway, so what about you guys? What do you all hope to go into? Minors, majors? How long do you hope to stay in college? Associates, Bachelors, Masters, Doctorate, what degree will you strive for? Any particular college jump out at you so far?

I'm thinking about majoring in either Web Development or Cyber Security. I heard Cyber Security is a well paid job.

Also, I think I might stay for either a Bachelors or Masters degree. Staying for a doctorate is sort of long, but I think it'll be cool being called Doctor Cerne

I am a senior majoring in Aero/Astro engineering.

I was hoping to get out and get a job after this year... but after my job search, it seems like companies look for mostly masters/PHDs in this major... so I don't really know what I plan on doing at this point...

You don't need to quote that. This is what people want to do, or be. They don't have to be at college to know what that is.

College is like public school. University is like a private school.

I want to major in either something involving math, science and music.

I top the year in science in most/every test (not to sound up myself or anything) and biology is my strong point and interest, so I'm planning to go to Uni to study something to do with medical science. I plan to stay for a doctorate.

Erm..not really. You still have to pay tuition to attend college so I don't see how it's like public school. Universities usually have several "branches" within, like the University of Texas at Austin, University of Texas at Dallas etc. they are all still part of the University of Texas as a whole. And Universities offer graduate programs while most colleges don't.

But anyways I'm attending community college (College of Southern Nevada) going for a pharmacy tech certification in hopes of getting a job soon after I'm done. I'll probably go for my 4 year degree in Pharmacy after I pay off all my debt. There is no school in Las Vegas that offers the program and I didn't want to leave to go off to school so yeah, or else I would have went straight for my bachelors.
