I have a Virus, please help
I've found 2 viruses, maybe 1 mixed with another. Yesterday, I downloaded some video converter called Leawo Video Converter. I downloaded it because I got a TV Show on iTunes, but it won't sync with my iPod Touch. It needed to be in another file format. After doing some research, I found Leawo, with promising User Reviews. I downloaded it and installed it. At the very end of the installation, it had a survey. The survey installed something called Relevant Knowledge. I googled it after it was trying to use Skype. Skype asked me if I wanted to allow or deny it, so I clicked deny. I then researched the program and found out it was a Virus tracking internet history. I've attempted to remove it with control panel. It worked, but I found some left over traces of the file in Program Files. I attempted to delete it, but 2 DLL files in that directory won't let me delete them. When I pressed delete, it said programs were using it. EVERY program I had up, even explorer.exe had it open somehow. I attempted to end all of the processes, when I got to explorer.exe. This is where I ran into a potential other virus. I ended explorer.exe, which is the taskbar and everything, but right after I ended it, music in another foreign language started playing in the background. I have no idea what happened. The music stopped, and I restarted explorer.exe. *I did do a full virus scan using Kasperksy Internet Security before I attempted removing the program. It ran up with no errors. The virus must be hiding. |

If it was recent, you could try a System Restore to an earlier date. It won't harm your documents or anything.

Nevermind! I have a backup from when I installed Strawberry Perl! Thanks! Nevermind. I don't really want to delete Office Word Pro 2010, in which I reinstalled recently. Never mind again! I found a later restore point. |

Smash your computer with a hammer then burn it. Should work.
