You might have realized us broadcasting you to identify yourself in case you didn't do it yet.

Well the reason is an upcomming App-update where you might lose your unidentified account. Sure we are setting up some stuff to prevent this and we will be able to restore it in case this will happen, but we would like you to identify now to speed everything up and have you on the safer side.  

If you're reading this- it will happen to Classic too. Please do it on Classic too ^^

The problem with this is that ecs will be lost. Weird has a good 50+ ecs and hasn't identified.  

Can you do it after Christmas? My brother's device has broken before the identify system was implemented. He's getting it repaired for Christmas, but he'll need an old school account transfer.

no, we cant as stefan is sending the update to apple today or within the next few days. but i doubt that we will delete the account files, meaning that we would be able to still transfer the account

you can still buy an item and transfer it. maybe we can post it in the news when we know when exactly the update will be released (approval from itunes) so you waste them right before the update and having the chance to buy an even more expensive item / multiple items which you can transfer before the update will be out

Thank god I all migrated. So why might the app update delete unidentified accounts?  

Does this mean he's sending in iZone too? ;)  

Because apple don't allow new apps to identify devices by their UDID.
It's to do with security stuff.

I'll be making a system which transfers over EC's on the first instance- only once.  

ok done- it now transfers EC on first instance.
