Crop Farming
I had this idea called Crop Farming. What you would do is get a shovel, go into your guild house or house and dig out a patch of dirt. Then you could place a seed on it which you could go and buy from a shop. Then after a certain amount of time it would be fully grown and you could use it as a food. Or you could trade with NPC's and they could give things in return like Hats, Gralats etc.

Or, instead of harvesting produce, you could just cut it down and it would be like an upgraded bush. For example, a patch of wheat yields blue gralats instead of green ones, and occasionally red ones. And then it grows back like bushes or grass after a while.

Delt isnt classic. Sadly. This is classic forums. Anyways yes i have always wanted this (and fishing) for the longest time, moreso after burgers were released. Heres a good catch to the idea, 1) Buy seeds from a shop or something. They should be fairly cheap and should come in packs. There shouldn't be a huge variety of seeds since this is graal CLASSIC and its should be simple. Perhaps tomatoes, grain, lettuce, and soybean. 2) Use shovel and dig hole in guild house or house, then use seeds on the hole to plant your crop. 3) Crops should need to be watered in order to keep them growing. You would need to buy/earn a watering can. This should When the crops are growing they should have a patch of dirt where they are growing. It should be dark brown when wet, and when its dry (unhealthy) its should be lighter brown. There should be a margin like every 12 hours unwatered they go dry. If they are dry, they should temporarily stop growing. If they are left 12 hours dry, then they should die. This timing method would be good for developers as it keeps players logging on daily. This is generally good for all games. 4) After the plant has finished its growing time, which should be like 3-7 days, you can harvest it. When finished growing, it should still be able to dry up and die, until it is harvested. When harvested it goes into a item category called ingredients. 5) These food crops should not directly be used for food, but as ingredients for a food item. Go to a mill and give the mill guy your wheat. He will tell you to return in a day and he will have made your grain turn into bread. You can eat bread and it will heal you .5 ! Then/or you can bring your soy to a temple (could be in air asia since soy is asian) and have this guy press it into tofu. You can eat this and it will heal you .5 ! Then lettuce and tomatoes can be combined into a salad and that will heal you 1 but have a really long eating gani (twice that of all the other ganis, and those are as long as the regular burger gani) leaving you vulnerable. Lastly you should be able to combine bread, tofu, lettuce, and tomatoe to make a vegi burger. It should heal you the same like a regular burger, which is 1. 6) lastly there should be a quest where everyday you can go to the burger refugee or a resturant and they say they are backed up on orders and need a bunch of food/ingredients. It changes every day, but for example 50 salads, 100 tomatoes, or like 75 tofu's. Extreme amounts that would cause people to save up there harvested foods. When you give the resturant the ingredients, they should pay accordingly. 7) One additional possible idea is the resturant has a large certain amount of food they would require every day, an large amount that would be to all players and however much of that food you can give them they would pay accordingly. (example, resturaunt requires 1000 tomatoes from players one day, anyone can sell their tomatoes to the resturant, so lets say a player sells 150 tomatoes. Then the resturant would only require 850 for the rest of that day. This causes a race between players and would cause it to be viewed like a race. That is good, it limits the amount of gralats the community can make off this but rewards the dedicated players. Thoughts? |

With a few tweaks, I think this would be a really good idea.
