27 killed in Elementary School shooting this morning
The gunman was a father of a student that goes to the elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut. 18 children dead,the principal and school psychologist dead and other unnamed casualties. The gunman also killed himself. They were reportedly killed "execution style" and a witness heard over 100 rounds of gunfire. There is currently no motive. Read more: Source

This is worse than the Columbine massacre. My condolences go to the families of those affected. |

Why can't he just shoot himself, other than harming the lives of 26 innocent teachers and students. The audacity of some people in this country.

The shooter killed his mother who was a teacher at the school, possibly the motive behind the shooting. The shooter's father (brother?) has also been found dead in his apartment in New Jersey. Getting a lot of different information from different sources, can't guarantee accuracy of this information. |

I am literally disgusted by this. I think the fact that he decided to kill kids in kindergarten is the most sickening part of all. Young children don't even contribute to society, so there's no way to even possibly rationalize this. If you are mad at society, why would you choose kids? This guy is literally despicable. I don't care how bad his life may have been. |

That's horrible. And his kid went to it? Because of course scarring your child by killing people isn't enough, it has to be people they know and play with too.
