People who have played Dating Sims.
I am looking for someone who has played a few dating simulators to help me for something I may do as one of the Valentines Day events on Classic. The closest thing that I've played to a dating sim is Harvest Moon, or Final Fantasy VII if you count the subtle undertones and 'date' sequence. I won't judge you, so hit me up if you have experience in this area. Writing talent is also preferable. |

I almost choked on a potato chip while reading this because I started laughing. The closet thing to a dating sim I've played was The Sims if that even counts since it's not even the main objective. I've never played any of those weird RPGs and whatnot that were centered mainly around dating. As for writing, I don't know if writing romance would be something I'm good at probably because I've never done it or had ever planned to.

The amount of users I see moaning on here about dating "single pm me" shizz I'd be surprised if someone comes forward and says they have played dating sims before.

Closest thing I've been to a dating sim game like you is Harvest Moon. I've watched an anime that's about a guy who plays dating sims and applies his knowledge to real life called The World God Only Knows.

Katawa Shoujo would be considered a visual novel. I've played a few dating sims on PSP like Tokimeki Memorial 4 but most dating sims on there are more like visual novels or idol games. Harvest moon Back to Nature and Hero of Leaf Valley act much like a dating sim though. |

Does Hentai dating sims count? There's a lot in newgrounds. Rufus you should go on Newgrounds, it will be a good experience.
