Playing events when you have the hat..

I don't do much on the lines of events in fact I really don't do them at all unless the hint happens to me next to me. So last week I was warped from fort and on my way back to Sardon when they said mini stage so I went and got into warper. Out of the three allowed one had hat (likely trying to fish for another hat) therefore the 4th person whom didn't have lost out. There needs to be something to prevent these players from doing this as others should be able to get a shot. I'm saying this now because whether it was the professional way of going about it or not a staff member called out yet another player for it yesterday and in my opinion at least the principle of his message wasnt wrong. Oh, and I'm back on forums lol.

Pretty sure those Admins can not check your hats.

Only way they can check if you have the hat is if they try to add it to your account.
Could maybe try to fix the warps to only work for people without the hat.
I am not much on how the warps are made or can be built to work as I said. Maybe do like how the pets/Jail place but again it only works when you have the item on.

I do want the players without the hats to win it, to me if you have the hat you should just play and not win it, since it removes the chance of others to get the hat.

They could simply block the warper for players which already got the hat

You shouldn't be prevented from playing an event because you have a hat. You should be able to play and get some alternative prize, gralats maybe.

Yeah, but that's kinda dumb to tell someone they can't have fun and participate just because they can't possibly win the prize over again. I don't know how many event hats are in circulation, but after a while it seems like the better players would eventually own the majority of them and thus be locked out from playing events.

There are plenty of hats to go around, just be courteous and give others a chance to win the hat if you already have it.

Err, it's not exactly courteous for you to tell someone they cannot play and enjoy an event simply because they've already won the prize.

There should be alternate hats for players who already own it.

It's silly to discourage players from playing something simply because they're good at it.

On a more personal note, I won a hat about a year ago in hide and seek on the Facebook server. At the time it was relatively rare. (Black hood with shoulder pad)

The majority of events that have occurred more recently, at least while I've been online, have had this hat as a prize, thus making me not recommended to participate in events. It would be nice if they would use a larger variety so I could participate more often.

I think you should still be allowed to play, but if you win and you already have the hat you don't get a prize, and it goes to the player that came closest to winning that doesn't have the hat already.
