Yea, I've had them for a year now and another year to go. I'm gonna be completely honest with you, when you first get them on, they hurt pretty bad for about a week. If you chew on anything hard, it hurts reaaally bad. You will probably feel like you will never get used to them, but by the time you've had them for about 2 weeks, you'll get used to them. After that, they really never hurt unless you get them tightened(only hurts for a day), which for me, is every 6 weeks.

I have them now. I remember the first night I couldn't sleep at all because I was in so much pain. It lasts for a few days and you can't eat anything without wanting to gauge your mouth out. It sucks, but it's the truth. You'll never want to lose the gels they give you for your lips for the first few days. Trust me.

I've had them for bout a year now, never felt any pain from them, the first day or two it felt awkward to eat and talk though.

When you first get it, for the first week, you will need to drink soup. Then it gets better, you get used to it, except it's annoying when food gets stuck in your braces. Then you get it tightened, and you start over again.

I've had them for 2 years, they're off now, but before they were put in I had to get spacers, which seriously hurt (basically small rubberbands put in between teeth to spread them out). Couldn't eat anything for weeks without it hurting. Braces weren't that bad for me though, like others said, it was uncomfortable for a couple weeks because I wasn't used to them. Just stay away from hard foods for a while because your teeth might be sensitive.

I have them. You can say goodbye to Starbursts, Sour Patch, and all those good candies for awhile. I still eat the soft Gummy worms though. They say to brush your teeth after every meal and snack and also to only have pop like once a week. I have pop pretty regularly though. I just make sure to brush my teeth right after. They're not unbearable, but you will hate them at first.
