Recently I decided I wanted to animate comedy shorts;however, I don't have the tool that I need.

Remember the OLD South Park's? It's going to be like that, but my funny characters that I draw. I don't want to use a camera though.

Basically, I need something like Pivot or Stykz. I want to make a body sprite, arm sprites, head and leg sprites, and link them all together and be able to move their joints. Just like Garry's Mod or Pivot.

Then I insert the background and prop sprites.

I really don't think I want to use Pivot, but It's definitely going to be 2D. It should also be FREE, but you can still recommend paid animation software.  

Adobe flash cs5 or higher has the bone tool which does that  

That's way to expensive.
