I think the obvious smarter thing would have been to use npcs or made a movie, npcs can always do the play, never mess up, you don't need to wait a minute for them to type out each sentence, and don't "improvise"

Plus you could change it and make different plays every now and then.
Of course maybe having a better mystery writer would have helped, maybe a twist in the plot?

The problem is that no NPC in Graal Classic do nothing, stand, or run around and try to kill you.
In Graal Era, theres NPCs that walks but thats about it

Incorrect. They had a XOR npc at the nexusthat walked about and said one of a few messages like "welcome to the nexus!"

They also had one for naack once,  

wtf is naack?

You have alife and can't work 24/7

When they would make npcs who makes evry 1/2h a show and you have to pay 500gralats to view it would be not a problem

I agree with the points you have put across, and they can be synced perfectly, but it isn't as fun that way! The whole point of doing things like that is for the fun of it all.  

From what I heard is it wasn't fun at all. It was poorly executed, there wasn't enough showing times, and it was tedious and time consuming. Which took away from the play.

Please stop quoting this. It doesn't explain or back up anything, obviously from all the complaints about how long it took and how few showings and all that, it's obvious the players doing it wasn't fun, it wasn't as fun as it would be with the npcs and the plays being able to be held a ton more often,

As for time, having to rehearse and organize and prepare all the times players did it would take longer than the one time they would need to script the npcs, and the play wouldn't take longer, the npcs wouldn't need to take time typing everything up, no pauses, no awkward moments when someone takes forever typing a reply that was supposed to be delivered quickly. And no improvising taking up time,alot of players would have been more entertained with npcs than players, plus more players would be able to see it if it was done with npcs because the plays could be done alot more often, like automatically so everyone could see it.  

And they really need a list of showtimes, I've been trying to see a showing but its almost impossible to get on at the right time to catch one
