Suggestions for the following year.
I haven't posted in a while. Here are my ideas: For Theatre: - You said you wanted more player interaction. Well I was thinking of a Simon-says kind of game. You enter the stage like a guild spar and you get a set of commands, like Simon-says. You're automatically equipped with items and a script. You don't get to see the items or the script lines, it just brings up a number pad. Based on what Simon says, you have to repeat his patterns and once you are done, the scene is carried out. The numbers are the items and script which are executed based on your input. You could win a certain amount and have it decreased based on your mistakes. The only hard part would be giving the player NPC commands based on their input. Unless they controlled pre-defined NPCs. - Mirror items. When you take acting classes, you are taught to "mirror" the other person (do the same thing). It helps you practice reactions at the right times. Well this mirror image would be like RPS, you have to be standing in front of each other and would be like Simon-says (as mentioned above). What one player does (based on a set of movements), the other player has to mimic correctly. They can go from 4-10 combinations to make it harder or easier for challengers. - 3D glasses, but instead of it being 3D its kind of like an "overlap" effect for Graal, so you can play how you want. For instance, 3D glasses that dim the over world and put zombies everywhere so you can play in an eerie Graal. Or glasses to change the season tiles when it's not that season. Just basically "illusion" goggles, so you can enjoy Graal the way you want to. For Catacombs: - Back to start button. - Clues, like in CoD how they have the chalk drawings on the Walls to point you in directions that can be opened or unlocked. I haven't played anymore CoD games besides Zombies, so idk if this is also on other games. - A beeper of some sort to know when you're close? - A map at the least. It wouldn't have to show the items, but a map of the GMAP. I know that the catacombs are a GMAP cuz it's way too big to be a single level. - A rideable dragon you can buy at a secret shop which could require hours or hidden behind stones? - Something like fireworks, but it shoots forwards and briefly lights up the path for you. - Multiple levels, such as deeper catacombs or a dungeon of some sort. - A special lantern that illuminates a larger area that we can buy. - Make the skeleton fall apart with the press of a button and heals yourself so you can be brought back to life. Extras: - A PHOENIX mount. It would shed it's feathers the more often you use it and you wouldn't be able to use it again until you bought it's resurrection, whereby it bursts into flames and comes back to life as a fully restored Phoenix. Could breathe fire naturally without bombs since the Phoenix would wear down eventually anyways, just the same as you would run out of bombs eventually. - Jousting, it would work by pressing a button while inside a jousting arena to briefly thrust or charge forward, as if sliding on the ice in snow town. It wouldn't be long, it would be short and you could try to aim yourself at the other player. For Thanksgiving: - A large dining table that can fit up to 10 people for a meal. - A pilgrim homestead on Belle Isle with a quest to catch turkeys for them and find maybe a specific turkey with a key or item. - Horn of plenty item that works like the flute and makes noises. - I forget what they call it, but in Sweden (not for thanksgiving), they have this pole with ribbons on it and each person rides their horse and takes a ribbon and they ride around the pole, interlocking their ribbons to form patterns. Could be just a fun over world location for players to grab a ribbon while on their horse and ride around. - Prayer item to be used in the church which will act like the magic 8 ball where you ask a question and upon hitting enter, some form of "God" or a supernatural being "answers" your prayers. Would be a good house item, as to not disturb the non-religious visitors who go to the church as a meeting place before getting on the railroad. - Flag ganis of Canada and America (and other celebrating countries) that your players can wave. For Christmas: - Gifts! You should definitely be able to choose from a list of gifts to give to someone. You can only buy for someone else, not yourself. So you'd have to depend on your friends to get you what you want for Christmas. - A portable chair like from the GST, except it's a gani of Santa with a child on his lap, or just Santa sitting down to take Christmas orders. - Naughty and nice list. Kind of like a voting system. All through the a christmas season, you could click on people and rate them as naughty or nice and at the end, whichever you have the most of, you get 1 of 2 gifts. And no, the naughty people wouldn't get cole or something worthless. They'd still be rewarded. But it encourages people to set a good example. - Snowball fights! I know there's no mouse like a PC so you can't really use it to aim your snowball and throw it like on a PC, but maybe it could be scripted like a bomb. You drop a snowball and pick it up, then throw it at people. It hurts them of course. And if you don't pick up the snowball, it doesn't explode, it just melts. Would be fun and maybe temporary for Christmas season, as throwing snowballs during the summer would look weird. Maybe even a dedicated arena with snow forts similar to the Graal city battle arena "guild war" room. - reindeer with sleigh so you can transport friends in areas with snow, even on off-season. - Carols like the flue, except each button would sing a line, not just play a sound. Or perhaps just a pre-defined song where you just equip your Carol book and choose a song and it starts playing the song. - Sleds! Script the slide on the side of a mountain or hill, so that you can get to the top and slide down in the snow. Kind of like when you could slide down in the water at the summertime waterpark on era. - The guy in the mountain who seems to have "dropped" his boxes could be a quest where you head up further north and bring him back his dropped boxes so you can deliver them to Santa's workshop. Maybe he's an elf? - Speaking of Santa's workshop, you could do something similar to Era's "dolls" where you can go in and make toys for people. Maybe teddy bears with the players head and name on them. - Candlelights that work like the lantern you can use to get into snow town only or any place requiring a lantern. - Pyjamas soothing decorated for Christmas. - Elf ears hats. - Santa bag hat that is similar to the baby on your head/back from the GST competition. It could be worn as a hat but look like a bag thrown over your back. - Hurley. This is a medieval-themed game and Hockey used to be called Hurley back in Scotland where now only a part of the stick is called the Hurley. So perhaps something similar to hockey, but not hockey itself. Something similar to the mentioned "jousting" idea where you thrust forward but instead, you walk up to the ball and hit a button to slap your stick. The harder you hold could make a harder slapshot. - Ice skating room at the resort for 2k hours, or out in the public. Could have lights and music and just be a fun little place to skate. - If you live in Canada like myself, you get used to being stuck in the snow. So maybe a quest where you have to help someone get unstuck by dragging a rope through a maze to tie it onto a tree so he can be pulled through? - A quest where you have to find a ladder, climb to the top of a house, get down the chimney and unlock the door to deliver presents? And if you put the presents in the wrong stockings, you wake up the children and you get warped back to the start? Just an idea. Would be simple. - Campfire location like Era. Just a fun little gathering location, maybe a quest where you collect firewood to help heat someone? For instance, a forest like the onnet town forest where the NPC says his family will not survive in the harsh weather and he is too cold to move himself, so he asks you to collect fire word, like (3 hardwoods, 2 softwoods, 6 kindlings, etc), similar to the ingredients from the deadwood forest quest and once you bring them back, you can throw them into the fire and heat up his family for an item of some sort. - Hide presents that we can hunt for like the easter egg hunt and get tokens for the shop. - Different reindeers. Ones with the names on them, so you know which reindeer each person has and rudolph's nose can actually light up. - Igloos for your house! Just a simple furniture item and once you go inside, it could be just a simple level with a circle and some snow in the centre like you're inside an igloo. Maybe a campfire accessory or other accessories. Maybe even the ability to "camp out" in areas with snow, where you can pitch your igloo on the over world and invite people inside. - Again with the tent idea but for summer (didn't want to write a whole new section for this). Could be furniture item or a pitched tent. - Qnother quest which acts out the biblical story of Christmas, where you follow a star in the north, meet up with 3 King's, etc. Would be cool to have a "spread out" quest, like the lady in the garden where the quest is spread over the GMAP and not just a single location or separate level like the catacombs. - A "homeless" can you can buy that jingles as if there's change in it, just for a fun item. - Again similar to the above, a jingle bell you can ring. - Halo hats (idk if these exist already or not, I think I saw them before) For Spring: - Gardens you can water that eventually turn into gralats. You don't know how much you will make from each or maybe different flowers give different amounts and you have to buy the seeds. - A sun that hides and when you find it, you get a prize like hunting for the Easter bunny. - A wordplay on "spring" which is an item that literally "springs" you (allows your player to bounce around like he's on springs". Could be a "rabbit hop" gain for Easter too. Anyways its been a long time writing these, just thought I'd think ahead to give the staff some more time to create even better content. So I've given them some ideas for the future so they have plenty of time for consideration. Suggestions? Ideas? Comments? |

Are you using a Mac or PC? Cuz on a mac it has iWeb, which is basically a free website builder that comes with every mac. of course, i think every site says "made on a mac", but hey, cover that up with a white box and no one will notice lol Also, check out BlueVoda website builder. it's free and it's called WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). basically just drag and drop and you don't need a domain, just online storage for the files and use "dot.tk" to create your own domain with ".tk" as the extension. i also think antarctica gives away free domain extensions ".at"? idk, but it's good to give yourself your own website rather than using templates cause it reflects the owner a lot more. Otherwise, i still like the template, just thought i'd help

I remember a long time ago i feedbacked a quest idea about the guy in the mountains with the boxes. My idea was that you need to run the boxes to "Onnet shop" in order to buy stuff there, but there would be a reasonable time limit. I thought of this because Onnet shop was never used awhile back, so it made more sense. Anyway, after i feedbacked that, Stefan pmed me "good idea for a quest!" so i thought they were going to implement it into the game, but they never did haha. Good ideas though! I hope they take some into consideration, especially the Christmas ones. |
