what would you think about an npc guild that randomly attacks towers? wouldnt that throw a wrench in towering if you had to worry about an guild thats just basically baddies. just make one leader that looks different then the rest and make it that when all they attack all the members of the A.I guild have to be killed off be for they respawn and make it so the A.I guilds attacking party is = to the current # of players in the defending guild so if the A.I guild attacks castle and theres 15 members of S.O.N there would be 14 baddies and a leader baddy. or after all the members of the A.I guild are killed they attack the next tower until all the towers have been attacked. if they take the tower then they stay and control the tower until taken by another guild. just away to change up towering
That's a bad idea, you know why? Because currently the NPCs we have are crap. They move like a lagger, and have the accuracy of a tiger, not to mention that they are hard to hit without a horse, which you aren't able to use in forts
lol they could tweak them so they are easier to kill or atleast move at normal speed. they dont no need to be rambo baddies. they dont have to use my formula to get a base number of baddies they could do: attackers= 1 less than the # of defending guild members or something else. i can usually take out a baddie or 2 before i go down as long as its one on one. if they are not in a mob its not that hard and you can take them out with arrows and bombs as well. your guild could also get some kind of reward for successfully defending the fort against the NPC guild. i think it would be nice to use a horse at york as it is the only fort where the flag is outside just to make it more unique.
Id love to point out the stupidity here but im tired and Ash's post is sufficient enough. Not to mention that baddies also have almost 0 time intervals between sword spam. And do you really want to have to hold a fort that baddies constantly attack where one baddy has the ability to bring your flag down 5x faster than a japanese sword spammer? If the number baddies is based on number of members online, then 100% of your members have to be active 100% of the time. Whereas at Sardons your members can afk, leave tower etc and never get attacked. o god did i just support lazy tower guilds?
Even with nicely made baddies(which are possible), it's one thing to make a baddy that interacts and attacks one player. It's another to try to make a cohesive unit of baddies that plan and work as a team.
Even if it was done, I can't see it being done well. We'd be better off paying 50 gralats to a team of noobs to periodically attack towers and act like NPCs.
