Balance
I have come up with a few solutions to help with the Medic bot 1. Have 1 person in your squad (usually the leader) have a medic bot. That person will be the only person with the medic bot in the squad 2. Only 1 Medic bot in battle 3. Remove them |

That's not balance. Do any of those options and medic classes will start complaining. I personally think classes are a bad feature in 90% of the games they are used in. Though it is much too late and impractical to do, iZone should scrap classes. Allow players to generally juggle the perks previously assigned through classes. Or, allow players full access to all different fundamentals and let the class boost the effectiveness of the feature. So if I were a "Commando" I could still use a medic bot, but it wouldn't be as strong and effective as someone who is a "Medic" and is using a medic bot. |

I hate to say it, but one of the reasons behind Call of Duty's success is likely the fact that you don't have fixed classes (you can create your own) but the fact that there are a range of perks you can choose from, and you're given the ability to create custom classes. |

I think a way to make Zone more balanced is make the Medic robot not overpowered. Make the server more player vs player ex: Add more pvp planets, add missions for levels 8+, add more levels so you can go past 10 or how many levels there are. Make pets refundable.

Stop complaining about Medics being OP. They will be useless if Tashkin makes more adjustments to them.

Balancing requires cons to offset the pros. To use the current example, medics, the obvious (and generally given) downside to a class capable of rejuvenating health is that these class types generally have less base hp -- they can heal but they die quicker. "Tank" classes have increased health and heavy damage, with the trade-off being a greatly compromised mobility. The answer is not to nerf it but balance it; the better the pro, the more debilitating the con. Simple. All weapons, skills, levels, etc. should be bound to these very simple rules of balance. Pros vs. cons allows for not only a balanced play, but a wide variation in preference depending on play style. With the addition of a stat-specific leveling system, skill tree, and extensive weapon load-out, the allowance in variation increases ten-fold. I wouldn't say to do away with classes because they make for a very strong gameplay dynamic and encourage teamwork. Just regulate and enhance them to allow for various styles of play.
