hacking or not?

please dont ban me for the following stuff i say:

i have iFile on my ipod. but what im wondering if i should have it. any admins; do u think its right to have iFile on your phone and play graal but not hack? i only use it for the ganis(looking at them on my laptop), and looking at all the shield codes.

i want to play graal fairly so do i or do i not delete it?

Things I thought of:

Why should they ban you for having it? iFile is a legal app which is getting abused at most games.
It´s no good reason to ban someone for having an app as long as it doesn´t take any influence at the game
Taking a look at codes is fine. Still would prefer taylorrichaards.com

iFile is not a "hack" and anyone who tells you it is is a total moron.

iFile is perfectly legal and is fine to have as long as you don't abuse it in-game. By this I mean hacking the map by moving it, delete files that are important to the game, etc. Using it to get peoples customs is legal, but I would not upload those customs unless you want a bunch of hate messages.

iFile doesn't mess around with any part of the game. You can use it to learn the Gscript and experiment around with it. Just don't get too crazy k?

They have no right to tell you not to have it... Also it's not evident in any way unless you used it to hack, in that case they could ban you.

As long as you don't edit code in it, or hack in any other way. Looking at files is okay, editing them is not.

iFile is not a hack, it can be used to view files, or editing files (which is hacking)
Every hack you will do on iFile is client side not server side, so it only affects you.

iFile is just an app, and completely legal. Even changing graphics files is OK.

I never said it was illegal. I'm just saying you can edit files (eg. Gani/ Gmap hacks) Changing graphics files are completely fine lol.

I hate the fact that people assume that because you can edit files on your iDevice with iFile, like it's automatically a hacking tool. Just because Windows Explorer lets you edit files, does that mean it's a hacking tool? No, it's not. If you want to hack, go learn a programming language and learn to exploit. iFile is completely legal and it's the users that have destroyed the app's rep. =[

You choose what you want to do with iFile, they never made it for hacking, they made it simply for more control over your iDevice. (eg, file transferring, more choices to store files, file editing, etc.)
