Improvements to bug catching
Okay so today I noticed a couple of things severely wrong with bug catching, that desperately need attention. Some of you complain and say there are no bugs/bug spawn rate is so low. Well, these 2 problems greatly contribute to that. The first is that many bugs wander on to water, and not just a simple narrow river, they wander onto the ocean. They stay here for hours on end and since a bug only respawns when it is caught somewhere, this is effectively one less bug in the game to be caught. Also you may be thinking 'oh one bug makes no difference', but this morning I observed 6 different bugs on large water patches at once, the picture below shows 2 but there was one more butterfly nearby and also 3 ladybugs. My advice to this would be to make bugs that are on water for 5minutes or more automatically respawn, as if they where caught. Or.. Alternatively let us use nets on water.. ![]() The second problem is in regard to ladybugs, arguably the most commonly caught bug at this moment. Today I saw 5 ladybugs on the horse racing course today using the drag viewing. And to the extent of my knowledge, you cannot even enter the race course without glitching through a fence (which I saw one player do which then caught all 5). My idea for this problem is make the race course publically available all the time, except for when there is an actual horse race event on. Obvious benefits of this would be you would be able to catch ladybugs that are in the area (this is probably there most common spawn point), and anybody would be able to practice horse racing, and since many of you want the ability to practice events, this would suit you well. |

They should make bugs unable to go on the large water patches. The river separating the north and south would be fine, but not the larger water areas, they never wander onto land.

Bugs already despawn after a few minutes if no one manages to catch them, they fade away and dissapear. But i do see your point, they should not spawn in unreachable areas.
