If a noob happens to wonder on here in search of item/npc locations be sure to note most of these guides have become out dated. However most of the info contained in the guides is still very helpful. A lot of things that where in the game have been moved,changed, or removed from the game at least for the time being. If you haven't noticed by now most of the map/area pics are not the same as the current one in the game.

I found the best thing to do is to take a couple hours to wonder around,explore and just get to know the world map. If you get stuck don't be afraid to ask more experienced players for help,but beware of those players who will try and troll you.

Final piece of advice: don't be in a rush to join a guild, and most importantly never let SON recruit you.
