I dont see how this would work. If the app is free I don't see any way this could genuinely work to make money for the apps developer In a efficient way without breaking apples rules.

The owners of the apps from the trailers probably pay them to feature their app and we get rewards for watching these apps. Each time someone uses another persons bonus code the person who owns the code gets 100 points and the person who typed and entered the code gets 25.

4:fake your device id to make a bunch of accounts to refer yourself.
5:turn in credits for money via paypal
