Loyalty awards. FREE STUFF AND MORE!
so d00dez, i have this idea for a loyalty program. Most games have a similar system but are usually lottery kind. Classic players could benefit from this and at the same time also boost product consumption for in-app purchases. Its a win-win situation tbh. Gralat pack consumers can earn "points", which in turn can be exchanged into a prize. These "prizes" can range from hat discounts, freebies, or a random special player treatment package (500,000 gralats worth of items will be up for grabs). Players will work toward a certain amount of points to redeem their reward. This type of reward program can also be used for "souvenir shops". Subgames will have their respective tokens. E.g. Bug catching will have blue tokens, PK will have yellow tokens, sparring will have rainbow token etc. All tokens can only be used in their respective shops. These tokens can be earned by reaching a certain milestone. E.g. catching a 20 grasshoppers, killing 20 people, having a spar streak of 5 etc. These shops will offer a variety of prestige items that can only be bought through tokens. Tokens not gralats. E.g. Gold bug catching net, Pk hat, spar hat etc. edit: Ganis, mounts, or anything tangible in-game are possible rewards. Yee, you read that right btw, 500k gralats.

Ditch the Token system. Sorry but i don't like the sound of it. The points system, however, is a nice idea. Awarding consumers with "honor points" (That's what i'll call them, temporarily) for purchasing Gralat packs (and not scamming players) is nice. It's kind of like thanking players for showing support towards Graal Classic. Then there could be a shop dedicated around these honor points.

I know what the old honor points were like and i'm glad they took it down because it really felt unfair to new players. There was no warning or rules about honor points back then so beginners didn't know what to do with them. Sadly, they got scammed by these veterans that do know what these points are. |

I like it but it sounds a lot like the achievement system Rufus talked about.

Cool idea. One problem. Classic will never give out free items, they're greedy as hell, and they wonder why it's going downhill. |

Post incentive comments related to the topic or don't post at all. edit; You're almost comparable to a grammar nazi. No one likes pedants d00de.
