How to make your own spar league
Tips on how to make and run your own team spar league: 1.buy a guild with main account, buy a 2nd guild with a 2nd account and give your self all powers.(You could also get a friend to buy a guild and be a co-owner of the spar league). 2.buy a guild house. (or use the spar arenas) 3.Invite as many ppl as you can to join your league and host spars at your gh at a set time and date. Anybody that joins gets a guild tag just to show they are in your spar league. 4.set teams of 5 and have them nominate a team captain. then where it says rank in the guild screen give ppl a team name or # signifying what team they are on for your league. 5.Have 1 member of each league spar team compete against each other 1 on 1 (all 5 ppl on each team so there will be 5 spars per match) and the teams will get 1 point per spar win and 1 point for the team who wins the match. 6.buy and post signs or some type of furniture to place in your gh that displays the stats for the spar league. team w-l records, leader board, ect 7.Run the league for a set number of weeks who ever has the best record at the end is the season champion. If there is a tie at the end of the season for the leader then the top two teams will spar each other in the same 1v1 format for each member and who ever wins the most spars out of 5 will be awarded a point and will be the season champion. 8.Have the other 4 teams compete against each other in a tournament and the winner will face the season champion for the grand championship. 9.Farm and reward them with gralats and there names could be on a piece of furniture (like a statue). 10.Start a new season: let teams disband if they wish or move ppl around at random. If ppl decide to leave the league go recruit more. Randomly add the new ppl to the pre-existing teams or hold a "draft" and let the captains pick who to add to there team. |

not bad! but.. i myself would follow the system of, -- recruit a few good players, have each member fight 1v1 versus other members, then pick the best with the most wins, (1, 2, or 3) and keep them in the guild, kick the rest, rank them, then recruit more and so on, until you have the desired amount for your sparring/clan team |

I thought it also could be a 1 on 1 style format with a ranking system so it would be more like boxing, mma,or wrastlin. Where you could have a tournament to start with, and allow anybody to participate that wanted to. Then the winner of the tournament would be your leagues "champion" and players would have to move up the rankings to be able to challenge for the championship. The problem I had with that format is how to set up and implement a ranking system. Like how do you decide who is what rank to start out with? maybe try and get 50 ppl for the tournament and the top 20 or so get the league guild tag with a rank attached to it. Then as ppl leave recruit more for ppl for the league,or once a week get ppl to join but the have to beat the lowest ranked person to get ranked. You could use a sub guild for ppl who have joined but aren't yet ranked. I also thought it would be nice to have the spar matches in gh's that way you could mix things up with different spar match types. You would have to set up fences in a square shape for the spar area. Then you could make it so they are only supposed to attack with arrows or bombs instead of swords. You could even have spar match where each player are on mounts. This would also let you vary the # of spars in a match. For example you could have 3 ppl sparring each other at the same time a Triple threat spar match. Or if you really wanted to you could design different looking spar areas. Add obsticles, vases to throw, have a statue with the current champ on it,ect. |
