Era News Trading System A lot of players have been requesting this so I thought I would open up the good and bad sides of a trading system. 2 sides: 1.Trading will make have a huge effect of item prices in the shops. (Eg. I sell BARs for 100K because I'm feeling nice, era will fall down a bit since you can get a BAR for cheap). 2. Trading will be a fun feature added without the worry of scamming. I took to the streets and interviewed players this is what I got: 1. It could be hacked so it appears that you are trading heaps of stuff when you are trading nothing. 2. Lol era is turning into RuneScape now? I hate this idea. 3. It will defiantly stop scamming. We also interviewed 2 Admins: Trixcta and street and this is what they had to say about the topic: Street: My opinion about the item trades is that it will prevent scams from happening like both players have to press accept to complete the transaction. This only applies to the items which are currently droppable. Trixcta: If a trade system was implemented items would more commonly be traded making some items expensive and some items not. Once again era news have brought the news to you first. [B]Questions? Comments? Opinions? Errors? Post them down there. Announcements: Starting from 5 days from now these things will be implemented in era news: •Quizzes revolving around era ( +Rep point and maybe a special item in iera. •Funny pictures From admins, players and me. •Special thanks part has been deleted to make room for these updates! Stay tuned since I have many more updates coming! |

I agree with trixcta, there won't be a control on the economics between items, that would be determined by supply and demand. I just wanted to clarify my view on the trading system. I was talking about a trading system implemented for trades between the current drop-able items, ie shells etc. This would reduce the amount of scams going on...since these items are already being traded, it will not have an impact (except that it reduces scams). I am not saying to allow trading of guns/gralats and what not. |

I agree with Street. A trading system would be good. But, with the droppable items we have now. So, guns and melee are not involved. So there's no issue about weapons. however I still want to sell guns back to shops if I want to. Oh, and great great job on the article. |
