D.Gray-Man

In a world filled with Akuma (demons made by trapping a human spirit inside a machine) created by the evil Millennium Earl, leader of the Noah Clan. The 'good guys', the Exorcists, have two jobs: free the innocent souls that are inside the Akuma, and collect fragments of "Innocence" from around the world. Innocence is a small cube of pure power that gives the Exorcists a supernatural weapon/tool. The story follows the adventures of Allen Walker, a new Exorcist. 104 episodes, but so worth it. Great OP's.

Darker Than Black

A few years ago (5?) an unknown barrier fell from the sky on Japan, enclosing a small unpopulated area of Tokyo. No one knows whats inside. But this "Hell's Gate" gives certain people called "Contractors" special abilities (main character Hei: electricity; others include power over gravity, sound, weather... several others). However, using these powers comes at a price. As part of the contract, you have a compulsion to perform an odd ritual such as breaking your own fingers, eating cigarettes and forcing yourself to vomit, and a number of other oddities. Anyway Hei is a member of "the Syndicate," one of many competing organizations trying to unravel the mysteries of Hell's Gate. Two episodes cover a single mission; low central plot; until the last 5 episodes where everything falls together.

Steins;Gate

Okabe Rintarou is a self-proclaimed “mad scientist” who goes by the alias “Hououin Kyouma”, who together with the “super hacka” Hashida “Daru” Itaru and token female member Shiina Mayuri, runs the “Future Gadgets Lab” in a second-floor apartment. [above copied from synopsis]. So anyway, Okabe is determined that the invention of the time machine is possible. However, his attempts at creating a time machine or any inventing any other gadget have been unsuccessful and childish even. However, one day he discovers by setting a cell phone next to his microwave, he accidentally sent a text message to the past. However, sending solid mass back in time is unsuccessful because the banana experiment turned to a green "gel-bana." So the team tests several experiments with this text message time machine. But playing with the past and future has consequences... dun dun dun.
