I've heard from a lot of sources that there was a plan that the funding that they got from Graal, that in the future they would make a 3D version of Graal. Here are some links and pictures I found that prove my point:

Which isn't a bad thing, really.  

Graal 3D was ass, it almost killed PC Graal as they completely neglected the game for some random 3D project, and it had/has no potential. No they're not bringing it back.

Yea, I know XD  

is it a good idea? yes however to much time needs to be devoted to it the gfx has to be 3 dimension as if 2d wasn't hard enough as it is as well as recreating the systems it's all to much work and cost a lot to run a 3d server i myself wanna do this project as well but i can say this with most certainty a 3d server won't be made for years to come now

iirc Graal had paid developers working on the 3D project.
