I'm sure I will get quite a bit of heat for this one,and I know the majority of the players are rabid hat chasers wanting nothing but hats. I know it was said before on other threads that hosting admins get to choose what hat or item they offer when hosting events. I'm just wondering why cant we get more variety of items for events. There are lots of things that Classic has to offer but never seem to get utilized. I very very rarely see admins offer up anything but hats for events. As a matter of fact Rufus is the only admin I can think of that I have seen offer up a mount as a prize instead of a hat (a unicorn mount). Not just mounts or morphs. Why not offer up other things that are available in the game like special made bombs,bodies,heads,pets and even Furniture. I know there are a few players that are forum regulars that would jump at the chance to win furniture items.

I do have to admit they have been doing a good job lately of offering more things (furniture items,ect.) for the limited time and holiday events and I hope it continues. I would like to see that become a trend in regular admin hosted events as well.

For events: I was wondering if it would be possible for hosting admins to start offering a small selection of different types of prizes for the winner to choose from rather than just what ever hat they are wearing at the time? This would eliminate the problem of ppl winning that all ready had won the offered hat previously. I realize this probably isn't as big of an issue now as it was before the que system.

I would also like to see them offer up prizes for the top 3 finishers whenever possible instead of just rewarding the winner. The winner would obviously get the big prize like a hat then 2nd gets 1k gralats,and third place would get 500 gralats.  

Or once every month there is an event that has 5 rounds (juggernaut would be cool) for example:
Round one: 500g
Round two: 1000g
Round 3: 5000g
Round 4: One of three hats to choose from
Round 5: Mount  

Or:
1st Place: Hat
