Looked for a similar thread but didn't find one so sorry if this has already been posted about.

There should be a type of sparring in which the players are able to use bombs arrows and swords. Kind of like a "Mix Martial Arts" thing. This idea came to be when I was really bored of sparring so I bought fences, invited some friends, explained the rules, and we made this game. We called it ABS.

Thoughts on this? Could this be made into a real spar type game or just a mini-game?  

So you're telling me? I can spam my bombs then shoot my arrows at bombs creating endless chaos to the other player while hiding in corner not getting hurt and become MVP of this game I say we add stuff like from the avatar last air bender where you can use like rocks and fire to attack the opponent like magic.  

i dont like it for individual spar but it would be cool for guild competition. An arena bigger than the guild spar arena and with obstacles. If you do it in individual spar it just turns into era spam spar.  

This or something similar has been suggested in other threads but not as a thread on it's own I believe. I agree with Goat this would be best suited as a multiplayer format rather than 1 v 1. In one of the other threads Blueh Suggested a battle dome type thing where you would fight waves of baddies. I think this would work good for that. I think Zone actually has arenas with this concept as well where its all out war with how many ever ppl want to join. Either way I like the idea,and would like to see choatic anythng goes multiperson type survivor battles.

Perhaps they could make it so each person has to wager or put in a ante like poker and who ever wins the match gets all the gralats from the pool.  

I think if you were able to use bombs the typical person would buy loads of bombs and try to spam you in battle. I think that would be pretty aggravating, but it still sounds like a good idea.  

I say we add a new way of attacking

Yeah but 1 v 1 instead of a bunch of kids spamming.

And to make the game more interesting you would be limited to a certain amount of bombs and arrows to prevent spamming.  

Each player gets 10 arrows, and 3 bombs. If both players run out of ammo then they both get a loss!

That's difficult, I can just run from him and if he does the same then it's pointless. I say we make it where it's an arena full of obstacles and you can use sword bomb and arrow but 30 arrows 15 bombs and a sword that's weaker then normal swords, it takes 2 hits for 2.5. And whoever dies loses and winner gets points which by the end of the weak they get a cheesy prize like something similar to bubble prize where you csn blow bubbles or like a never dying out balloon and is glued onto you, or like doing cartwheel. SOMETING possibly easy!

instead of losing they would have to resort to traditional sword fighting.

I like the idea minus the running out of ammo = a loss part. I think they should just be out of ammo or possible make some kind of object that can be hit that would drop small incraments of bombs or arrows. And I don't see why ppl would still want it 1 v 1? Would it not be a lot funner if it where multi player?
