New Laptop
So recently I bought this laptop from my work for only $100, nothing is wrong with it but I just have to get my blank harddrive with windows 7 64bit I ordered the disc off of ebay should be here monday or tuesday. It is a Dell Latitude E6430- i7. It isn't really built for gaming but it is pretty good but I might just sell it and get a better laptop later on since they do go for 400 on ebay. Any good gaming laptops for 600 dollars? It did come with 2 4GB memory sticks 10600 but I switched them out for 2 12800. I have SSD in it which is 128GB, but soon it will have a 1TB Hard Drive. The links are photos of the laptop. I regularly browse a deal site called Slick Deals. Here's a view of their listings by the Computer tag: https://slickdeals.net/forums/forumd...order=&icon=23 The laptop you have with an i7 (which generation, do you know?) would be great for light gaming but not much else. You need to find a laptop with a reasonable video card because you cannot add your own after the fact! Still, a hundo for a new lappy is a great deal. If you can part with it for 300-400 bucks, you could put that towards a 700-800 gaming lappy. |

Hey Santa. I'm going to buy this laptop from HP for $630. Amazed at how I can get a laptop like this for the price but hey I'm not complaining. With a few discounts and coupons I'm picking this up for like $550. http://shopping.hp.com/en_US/home-of...ook-Best-Value Specs: • Windows 8.1 64 • AMD Quad-Core A10-5750M Accelerated Processor • 2GB AMD Radeon™ HD 8750M Discrete • 15.6-inch diagonal HD BrightView LED-backlit Display (1366x768) • 8GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm) • 1TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive This Laptop is great for people like us who are on a budget. This laptop is able to run Battlefield 4 (49 FPS on low settings) and pretty much any modern game on low-medium settings. Skyrim runs at I believe 63 FPS on low settings. You won't have any trouble running most games from 2013 and below (possibly some 2014 games). For some info on the AMD radeon HD 8750M use this link for benchmarks. (scroll to bottom of page to see how games run on it). http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Rad...M.87147.0.html
His laptop has Intel HD 4000 graphics which are integrated graphics. Not quite suitable for running much of anything. I recommend selling the one you have now and try finding something else. |
