So I recently restored my Windows 8 PC to factory defaults and decided to get a dual boot going again, however while installing Ubuntu I come across :

"None Type" object has no attribute 'get_info'

I looked it up on Google and none of the fixes seem to be working, anyone else ever have this issue? I know some of you Graalians focus in the computer field and hopefully some are Linux users as well, only programs I have downloaded are the Runescape Game Client and Unity.  

Windows 8 + Dual boots = s***storm. I seriously wouldn't recommend it.  

Yeah I was thinking it was most likely a Windows 8 issue since I easily installed a dual-boot on a school Win7 machine with the same disc, I think I'll just Emulate it with Oracle's VM.

I have Windows 8 and it works fine for me
