I don't know if this has been suggested before, but I did a search and didn't find anything.

Being that classic is 80% socializing I think people would love to gift their friends on their birthday.

edit: or to make it simple, having the server give them a present.


Having the option/choice to display you birthday.(privacy issues)
Having the date connected with the identification system and not allowing people to change it.(possible abuse of the system)

I would love a gift on my birthday! The quality could increase the longer you have been playing graal; but that could be abused.

If you mean to give themselves gifts then they have something they use on Xmas gifts to prevent that.



If you mean to transfer the hats from noob accounts to main account then that's where the identification system comes into play. You wouldn't get a gift unless it was to a identified account that is connected to a specific birth date.

I also really love the idea. However it could easily be abused. Also if players are able to send gift to another for their birthday, they could easily just be scammed. Unless you get a gift from the GP team once a year on your set birthday time. I would love that idea.

This still wouldn't work if the server gave them out, as you can still overwrite an identification by identifying to another account. It wouldn't be as bad, but still possible to be abused.

I still support the idea, just need to think about the negatives too.  

I doubt it would be added. but if it was there would need to be a place to enter your birthday and once you put it in it doesnt change or cant be changed. Even if you've made a mistake. This is just so there cant be any abusing. Also you wouldn't be able to give to someone on the same IP  

Another thing, would this take up much space on the server? Potentially and quite possibly, gifts could be given out every day...

Maybe a building where you would need to request you get your present from an NPC - like a post office - just to stop players receiving gifts when they go inactive or quit.  

Would be awesome to have some kind of post office where you had to deliver letters to different NPCs in general... sort of like a job  

Once they set their birthday it can't be changed. But they're allowed one request to change their birth date. And if they already got a present that year they won't get a new one.  

I support this if the ways it can be abused are taken out!

Kinda good idea but at the same time seems silly.

What are you gonna give your friend a present exactly? Imagine your friend has all hats,mounts (kinda stupid), furnitures, etc in game but you can't give any cuz it has everything, unless you can give gralats (ehhh)

How about make a shop but only for gifts o3o?  

Gralats are a more reasonable choice or simply a birthday card where players sign it.
