Macroing player + improvements

Ok guys, first of all i'd like to say that this thread is NOT only focused on a macroer - and i'm not raging or trying to start something in anyway. If you can't be bothered reading all of the report - skip to the improvements! Make sure to read thoroughly!

There simply weren't any staff members online, or staff members with a suitable timezone. I reported; nothing happened. I searched my friends-list and the player database for deputies; i didn't find anyone online.

So yeah. It is new years, so that might've been the cause of the inactivity. But there are only about 2 people with that timezone, and they are SaintNate and SpotzyCreedz(my own knowledge, correct if i'm wrong) - both were offline. They are great people, don't get me wrong - but it would've been better if there were more staff members around this time. Or at-least a Staff Contact list so I can actually check, and other players too if they had any problems.

Macroing - Panning
Anyone, even an 8 year old could macro. But Xenice... duh! Report them if they are - Oh, I forgot - no one to check my report. D Well, it's basically impossible to prevent this apart from having more people moderating the server.

My idea to prevent macro-ing:
-Have some sort of panning bag, container, jar or whatever; and when you pan, the minerals go in there but it can only fit 10 minerals - and you have to manually empty the jar within your inventory and it would add up normally from there. This ensures the player is actually panning legitimately, and if they were to macro - they'd need to check every few minutes constantly just so they can empty the panning jar.

The panning jars, containers - bag (whatever you want to call it) could have a durability too - and it breaks after carrying certain amounts of minerals.

Here's an example:
-Just a random player panning, instead of their panned minerals going into the inventory straight away - it goes in their mineral jar(which can only fit 10-20 minerals)
-If they wanted to carry on panning, they have to empty the jar into their inventory, and repeat the process - but eventually the jar would break and they would need to buy a new one.
-You can only buy 1 jar at a time

Another little idea is instead of just randomly panning away, the person panning would need to look for sparkles in the water and start panning there.

From a macro-ers perspective, it would be a pain since they'd need to check constantly on their device so they can empty it and start panning.

Thank you for reading my suggestions and the report is directed at a staff member for them to solve, but feel free to check it yourself and discuss nicely.

Makes me feel crappy cus I actually got my rocks by hand and I'm in third due to their macroing "skills"...
And tbh, anyone who macros should just be removed from the leaderboards or get their stats decreased by a certain amount of time each time they get jailed

I totally agree with you. It's not right for someone to work so hard in mining or panning just to do well on the leader-boards, and that hard work to be nothing because of people who cheat - and getting away with it.
They should be REMOVED from the leader-boards, and their stats to be reset as well as being banned/jailed for a long time.

Also, weeks of hard work just to earn 6k panned minerals is gone. The suspected macro-er has already earned 7k panned minerals which is unfair.

People who don't mine/pan/catch bugs/pick plants will not understand how bad it feels to have someone go above you in the leader-boards - even worse, when they achieve it by cheating.

All they get is a 5 hour ban and after that they can macro again for multiple days, yes I have seen it happen multiple times now

Update:
The person has been jailed now. However, i'd like him/her to be removed from the leader-boards or her stats reset as she/he has macro-ed their way up the leader boards.

You did not get your rocks "legit" I saw you in the dangerous caves, mining suspiciously fast, i pmed you and asked how you were mining so fast and you replied with "wth no this is slow" I had a hunch you had a frame rate hack, and ofcourse the next day I saw you were jailed, reason? Using a frame rate hack.

Another Update:

The person has been unbanned, for some reason. His IGN is now Sherr Khan and he's still on top of the leaderboards. I want to know why no action has taken place apart from a very short jail sentence.

This can escalate into a very big problem if cheaters are given a short jail sentence and stats not reset for leader boards.

Caught another macro-er - possibly the same person but a different acc
After my recent encounter with a macro-er, yesterday - it made me well aware of other macro-ers.

IGN at the time - Dadumb
Just my usual routine - wake up; check the leader boards; see who is gaining on me and click their profile. Anyway, I clicked this guys profile - and on the leader-boards his name was 'unknown' and he appeared offline and off the map, but he was panning because i could see it on the leaderboards. I went to every possibly panning spot - then I found him.

He was in the same place as the other guy that I caught, and he was panning. I recorded him for about a min - and his pan seems to break but he carries on panning, which is strange; and that's when I caught him.

Report Spoiler - Suspected macro-er + I also added him/her so I can check up on the player easily -Terminator(second on the panning scoreboard) warned me about him/her. Thanks to him for telling me. -This guy suddenly had 6k panning materials out of no where - I check the scoreboards everyday, especially panning What makes it even more suspicious is that the player constantly changed his/her name to something short. They also checked the option 'appear offline' and 'appear off map' which isn't solid evidence, but it suggests something. Strangely, he/she was located in an isolated area before our last encounter. In the video, you'll see me and a random person standing there which is also me as i'm using the account to record the suspected macro-er. In the video, you'll see me: - kill her/him 3-4 times - and he/she is completely oblivious to what's going on until he/she possibly recognizes me. -She comes back again, but I think she ignores my alt - and thinks my main acc is gone. - At around 1:45 in the video, she begins to pan. This is possibly my strongest evidence because she probably 'activated' her macro within the water; and you'll see her moving as if she was panning, but in the deep area. -Last bit of the video I show the scoreboard etc and her profile. *OK. Some may argue it's not macro, some totally no idea but please discuss* But that's not the point; he/she macroing or not, it doesn't matter.
