Everybody knows that the bank is one of the key places in the Graal Classic world but why is it a key place if it is not in use? Surely it cant be hard for it to become usable seen as there was a bank on Nimda island that was usable?

A decoration that could easily be changed to improve the game...  

It's not in use because you don't drop gralats when you die like you used to on real Classic.

I must admit. The biggest reason why it is still there is because of me. I consider Graal City, for the most part, as "Holy Grounds" that I fully protect in not majorly altering. In particular, I do not want to remove JesusFreaks' house, the Bank, Burger Refuge, Azrael's club (not me), Zol's Pub, and the Battle Arena.

Yes the Bank has no purpose RIGHT NOW. But I can't let it go away, sorry. It is important to me - one of the main places people would congregate back in the day when I was a nooby.

Holy Grounds? Is that why you guys changed building tiles and re-tiled the iconic bridge?  

i was quiet ****ed that the graal memorial building got turned into the egg hunt place, and how thors name got removed.... and i heard the monty python reference in swamptown was removed...

Its still the memorial place but there is just one room dedicated to Egg hunt winners.  

But there was a room right and it is now away...
There was a statue and...  

Well even if they did remove the things the egg hunt winners still deserve to be there.  

not as much as thor did, i cant even remember how many pks he got to win, anyway, now that he is manager of pc classic he deserves a bit of recognition, even if the server was just passed down to him..

He really didn't do anything, honestly. We took back-ups of Graal Classic. Three, in fact. I pieced together 3 different back-ups because each back-up was incomplete. There's still a large portion missing which is unfortunate. All three of these back-ups were from Classic prior to Thor. I see no reason why recognition should be given if we didn't take anything of his. Classic is not something someone "Owns". It can be Managed, but no one person "Owns" classic. Never has, never will. The closest one can come to owning classic would be Stefan or Unixmad, who own Graal.

In regards to re-tiling; We did what was requested. Originally, we were requested to completely and entirely change the over-world for CI2. Towns should be completely different - new names, new buildings, everything. Re-tiling everything was the compromise created and I'd rather do that than re-do everything.
