A while ago as sort of a base for a build I bought an HP Pavillon Slimline 400-344 Desktop PC so I could upgrade it over time, but me being generally lazy and not so tech-savvy completely forgot about it altogether, so I was wondering if anyone in this community could help me set up a build to upgrade this PC to gaming capacity, I'd just want to be able to run games on low settings nothing special, so I'd say a 400$ budget for this, if not maybe a little more, I could offer the best suitable build to be posted on this thread a
20$ giftcard of their choice once they post it

The CPU isn't, but there is a compatible i5 out there so get that one instead.

They seem to be out of stock, whoops.
I'm not an Intel expert I'm not 100% sure if you can fit a 1150 in a 1155 socket.

Sorry,i forgot to take in view the compatibility issues.It ahs 4 cores which will give u a decent performance boost in your experience than the previous ones.

Buying a slimline computer was pretty much the worst thing you could do. You can take some parts from it but you are going to have to figure out the whole Windows activation thing yourself:

Note that he asked that he will be happy to play his games on low settings...why not put that money on a better CPU and more RAM insted of going for a r9 270?
